For a second year in a row, the Festibière de Sherbrooke is held in Victoria Park and it starts now! Until Sunday, June 2nd, the place turns into beergarden and the festival-goers will be able to taste the products of here put in value for the occasion.
Fifty microbreweries and street trucks will be taking place in the park, outdoors, to please visitors. The offer has thus increased by around 50% compared to the previous edition.
If you are worried about the cooler weather, be aware that the organizers have planned comfortable outdoor areas with the presence of campfires and patio heaters. If rain were to occur, a covered area was also built.
Admission is free, as is parking. You can get them the official glass at a cost of $ 15 and tokens to taste the products of the exhibitors present (10 for $ 10).
Local microbreweries will be present, including the Microbrasserie La Memphré, the Refuge des Brasseurs and the Siboire.
Well-known beer scientist Philippe Wouters will discuss with festival-goers the latest trends and the best food and beverage pairing, as well as discover the beers of different brewers.
A beer brewing competition, organized by SherBroue, the brewery student group at the Université de Sherbrooke, will be held on Saturday.
In addition to good drinking and eating, visitors can have fun with the presence of the Brewers of the World Game Zone. Also, several artists will perform on the Kia stage in Sherbrooke.
