In addition, a Doyon-Després pizza oven will be drawn randomly among the participants. Québec Table Gourmande takes place from November 3 to 19, and tickets will be available on the event website from October 26.

At the same time, the City of Quebec is allocating $730,000 for the “Québec Destination gourmande” promotional campaign to support restaurateurs affected by the pandemic. This initiative aims to encourage citizens to frequent Quebec restaurants and to highlight the quality of restaurateurs in the National Capital.

The funds come from a provincial government downtown recovery program. The pandemic has hit restaurateurs hard as they struggle to find consistent customers despite the return of tourists and customers to dining rooms.

The campaign is managed by Destination Québec cite and includes videos, advertising banners and a digital gourmet guide to promote Quebec gastronomy.
