Sometimes, we fall so much in love with the recipe of a restaurant that we want to eat all the time! Going to the restaurant is great, but sometimes we prefer to eat in pajamas listening to a TV series burst. Fortunately, the current trend in restoration is home-made. These seven restaurants offer a convenient shopping corner to stock up on tasty ready-to-eat meals or kick-start a simple recipe.
Restos Plaisirs
The products of its restaurants are so in demand that the group Restos Pleasures has decided to open a shop entirely dedicated to fast food. You will find all the signature products of its establishments including the tasty duck legs confit du Café du Monde, the delicious oils and pizza sauces of the JAJA, the decadent pig desserts du Cochon Dingue, the famous ribs of the Paris Grill, the succulents rillettes of the Rabbit Sauté or the famous sausages of Heaven! The new branch is located in the Jules-Dallaire Complex on Laurier Boulevard in Quebec City.
Normandin
Even if you frequent it regularly or order pizza, not everyone knows that Normandin has a large counter of prepared meals. The well-stocked boutique corner contains the most popular takeaway and home-cooked dishes such as spaghetti sauce, vegan or supreme lasagna, chicken wings and vegetable soup. A variety of frozen pizzas is also available such as garnished with pepperoni, chicken and bacon, vegetarian gourmet, Sicilian gourmet or gourmet 5 cheese. For weekday evenings, goose, meat, chicken, salmon or Chinese pâtés become great options. If you're invited for a brunch, you can also pick up homemade cretons, baked beans, pancake batter or strawberry spread.
La légende
The restaurant La Légende, located on Saint-Paul Street in Quebec City, has a beautiful store of home products on a nice shelf. You can buy refined little pots containing for example plum jam or smoked fleur de sel! During the holiday season, it is foie gras with the towel that steals the show. Discoveries in perspective!
Bistro Boutique Camp de Base
As its name suggests, the Base Boutique Bistro Boutique, located in the Town of Stoneham, offers guests the opportunity to go home with frozen products. Veggie lasagne, duck wonton, lobster pogo, crab cake, aranchini, game pie, we can feast on the chef's dishes in the comfort of our home and when we want.
Le Grec
The Trois-Rivières restaurant offers a boutique corner in its imposing establishment. There are the same dishes as those served in the dining room, but frozen or vacuum packed. Pies (meat, salmon, chicken or Mexican), pizzas (peppéroni, Greek or any garnished) or spaghetti sauce are available. Do not forget the four Greek salad dressings that can now be found in grocery stores: Original, Balsamic, Caesar and Italian.
Restaurant Chez Georges
Located in the heart of downtown Chicoutimi, the Chez Georges Restaurant also offers people to bring some "Chez Georges" home. Spaghetti or BBQ sauces, chef's dressing and steak spices, and the famous Graham biscuit pie are all available.
La Voie Maltée
In the Old Capital, the microbrewery La Voie Maltée also has its MicroBoutique. We can therefore leave with a flank of beef '' Criminal '', ribs buccaneers, duck drumsticks or sausages with beer to cook at home. Marinades, sauces and vinaigrette from the Maltée Way are also available.
