In cities across Canada, the next seven days ahead will be greedy because it is the week of burger that has just begun. Whether in Montreal, Quebec or Sherbrooke, everyone is invited to taste different burgers created for the occasion and then vote online for the best. The results will be announced starting next Saturday.

In Montreal, there are thirty restaurants entered in the competition. The various chefs created at least one special hamburger, largely inspired by the traditional cheeseburger. The maximum price for the plate has been set at $ 10.

In Quebec, the new Quai 19 is one of the 31 participants with his unique creation, the "mortal sin." Created by Dominic Jacques, the winner of the 2012 show Les Chefs!, it first put on a brioche with black beer bread. Inside is a ball of white pudding Piglet in white beer, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions ice cider, a sour apple Île d'Orléans and Elizabeth Blue cheese.

There is no restaurant officially registered in Sherbrooke but Destination Sherbrooke blog invites the public to crown the best burger in town. People can leave their votes directly on the blog.

And if the competition was held in the province of Quebec, for which burger would you vote?
