The Café Souvenir on Bernard bistro becomes Fishing mussel, a real moulerie. Abandoning his coffee menu, the owner wants to renew and give an identity to the restaurant.

"The restaurant has been around for 23 years, '' says Catherine Lecoq, who acquired the business 3 years ago and we wanted to come up with something new!".

The restaurant, well established in Outremont, now offer a menu in which the molds are in the spotlight, without denying its past. "We kept some '' Gift '' in the map, explains the owner, because we know that people also like to keep their habits."

The new menu includes a selection of seven dishes of mussels, all délieieux. Meals are served in 900g pot and are accompanied by home fries or salad. In these dishes are obviously added the '' Gift ''. "It remains including the house paté, the warm goat cheese salad and chicken burritos," which were very popular in the old menu, says the owner.

The new card will join a larger clientele. "The restaurant was stereotyped breakfast," says Catherine Lecoq, but the administration wants to change that image. Lunches will be always available, prepared with local produce, such as St-Viateur bagel, but the evening should more customers enjoy the new offer.

The team therefore always offer breakfasts and dinners with friendly staff, but in the evening, the atmosphere will be transformed through the new Cherf, Cedric, offering a more specialized approach.

The restaurant also offers a selection of original desserts and downright tasty. The cabbage duet houses, whipped cream with vanilla, is alone seeing! A good selection of wines is also available to accompany the dishes.

The Mussel fishing should remain a fixture in the neighborhood.
