Delivery statistics, Botanist vegetables and a celebrity chef in Montreal

Here is a quick delivery of a trio of news about Quebec's restaurant industry:
A recent survey tells us that delivery via uberEATS or SKIP applications is not very popular in Quebec, compared to the rest of Canada. Only 15% said they have already tried this service and 23% will try to do so in the next six months. The biggest reason that explains this phenomenon, according to experts? Quebeckers like to go out more than Canadians from other provinces!

An association of three experienced chefs is behind the restaurant Les Botanistes. Jean-Luc Boulay, popular thanks to his role on the show Les Chefs !, Arnaud Michaud, head of the boreal bistro Chez Boulay, and the one who will be the only chef in the kitchen, Pierre Joubaud, have developed a unique concept in Quebec City . The big stars of the menu developed by Joubaud are vegetables. This is a visit not to be missed, among other things to discover the green wall that allows cooks to stock up on edible plants and herbs.

The world-renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson, in addition to managing restaurants in the world's largest cities such as Stockholm, Bermuda and New York, will be coming to the city more often than not in the coming months, while he has just opened the Marcus in the Four Seasons Hotel. The restaurant will make seafood its specialty.
