It's a great time to be opening new franchises or establishing new restaurants! Once again today, we have several examples to give you:

Fromagerie Victoria
Let's start with Fromagerie Victoria which continues its expansion, this time by making a breakthrough in Shawinigan. The institution will open its twentieth branch in a location that is easily accessible from the highway, making it ideal for this type of restaurant. An investment of close to $1 million will be required to adapt the building and add a drive-through service. The Victoria Cheese Factory concept includes a restaurant, a creamery open six months a year and a boutique offering prepared foods to take home.

Matto
A third branch of the Italian restaurant Matto will now welcome its customers in Lévis, after having had to delay its opening for a few months due to delays in the construction and difficulties related to recruitment. The menu will offer the same dishes that made the reputation of the restaurant, which also has addresses in Old Quebec and Ste-Foy, that is to say pasta and homemade pizzas from family recipes. However, it should be noted that the Ste-Foy establishment is currently closed for a rejuvenation. The reopening is not planned until 2023.

Pizza Salvatoré
Three years ahead of its growth targets, family-owned Pizza Salvatoré has announced the opening of its 50th restaurant in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, just outside Quebec City. On average, a new restaurant has opened every two weeks for the past year. For the opening of the latest one, an investment of $400,000 was necessary.

Benny&Co.
Another proudly Quebecois banner with the wind in its sails has revealed the location of its 72nd branch: Longueuil. It is the first restaurant in this locality but the 17th in the region. Located in the St-Hubert district, this restaurant is the first of the chain to incorporate the new interior design with a bar area. It also offers regular services such as take-out and delivery as well as drive-through service.

Increased presence in Rivières-du-Loup for Groupe Restos Bégin
A major player in the fast food sector in Quebec, Groupe Restos Bégin currently manages some 50 Subway and Sushi Shop franchises, mainly in Quebec City and the surrounding area, in addition to providing jobs for more than 750 people. The Group recently announced two additional acquisitions, two Subway restaurants located in Rivière-du-Loup. These are the third and fourth franchises under the group's responsibility in this locality.

L'Effet Papillon in Le Massif de Charlevoix
Finally, a brand new restaurant will take place this summer at the summit of the Massif de Charlevoix mountain, more precisely in the Camp-Boule chalet, which will be renovated from top to bottom for the occasion. Chef David Forbes will be in charge of the kitchen. His menu, available for lunch and dinner, will include Arctic char, roasted halibut, grilled duck and smoked mussels.
