Finally, the multinational McDonald's has confirmed its intention to resume sourcing entirely from Canadian beef now. Due to COVID-19, the channel had to temporarily turn to the United States to meet demand, as Canadian producers were more limited at the start of the pandemic and because an outbreak of the virus had taken place in a Alberta processing plant.
