Burger week is in full swing until next Sunday

From September 1st to 7th, at the rhythm of the hamburger festival. The burger week presented by Saputo promises gourmets a rediscovery of the so popular. Last year, more than 200,000 people across Canada tasted a burger designed specifically for the event.
The participating restaurants must obviously concoct and present a unique burger, a new creation that is their style. The chiefs should not be harmed on the details in order to seduce the jury and the general public, also called to vote.

Little difference this year, to honor the main sponsor (Saputo), the organizers asked chefs to include cheese in their creation.

Look for restaurants near you, they surely have it at the event. Across Canada, we're talking about more than 100 restaurants that were created solely in the price of getting your vote! Just in Estrie, there are about ten establishments coming.

For example, the Auguste restaurant in the downtown area offers a mushroom ball burger, chickpeas, fresh herbs, Massawippi rice miso, vegan bread, fake mage, spicy veganaise, fried onions and arugula.

A little further up the West King, OMG Resto and his local ground beef burger 6oz, Panko shrimp and fried squid with lime, melting Brie cheese, lettuce, roasted tomatoes with smoked paprika, guacamole, red onions, Chipotle mayonnaise and Tobiko.
Just with this short list, our taste buds are already ready to take on the challenge of tasting. The most difficult will be to vote!
