For the second time in less than a year, La Belle Province in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is closed due to fire, that happened some weeks ago. It began at the close of the restaurant, located at the corner of St. Catherine and Bourbonnière.
In January, the restaurant's window was smashed and a petrol bomb was thrown before dying quickly. There had been little damage. A car dealership nearby had also suffered a fire, twenty minutes apart.
But this time, the damage is more extensive. The roof is the section of the building most affected while the ground floor has been affected by water and smoke and debris of all kinds.
