Fast delivery: spicy meals, secret addresses to discover and forest gastronomy

Here, in fast delivery, three favorites to try soon:

India, the Maghreb, the Mediterranean ... Here are three words that remind us of the spicy dishes typical of these regions. With the mercury on the decline of the times, here is a kitchen with spices and comforting scents. That's what Bistro La Goulette du Boul offers. René-Lévesque in Quebec City. Tajine, keftas, kebabs, couscous ... The menu options are not lacking this autumn and offer comfort enhanced by the warm atmosphere of the place.

The best-kept secrets of Montreal always end up coming out of the shadows and running the crowds. Here is another example: Noodle Factory. You have to go to Chinatown to discover this small space that will serve you the best Singapore-style noodles and the best Tao chicken on the island. Everything is homemade and you absolutely have to move because there is no delivery. Prices are really affordable.

The third edition of Rendez-vous de la gastronomie forestier begins this Thursday in Mauricie. The objective is to discover the mushrooms and edible forest (mushrooms, nuts, berries, maple products, etc.). This activity is an additional asset to develop gourmet tourism. And it works! In the first edition, 400 dishes were served compared to 1600 last year. This year, 13 restaurants are in competition and will have to prepare a three-course menu that will contain two different mushrooms and two edible forest. A grand jury will evaluate the dishes.
