Several topics under the sign of novelty for you today, starting with the renovation of the dining room and the menu of the Italian-Peruvian restaurant Aux Deux Fours. We will continue with the expansionist projects of the L'Oeufrier chain to conclude with a small foray into the new Pastage team.

First, the restaurant Les Deux Fours, which offers Italian-Peruvian cuisine, recently reopened after two long years of closure due to the pandemic. It is located in the Villeray, Rosemont and La-Petite-Patrie districts and is known for its famous “pollo a la brasa”, Deux Fours has been a popular family place in the local community since its opening in 2004. The menu also offers a variety of pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven and pastas, as well as a selection of drinks including Peruvian Pisco cocktails, wines, beers and sparkling wines. The decor was renovated during the closing to offer a warm atmosphere with a touch of exoticism in reference to the Peruvian roots of the restaurant.

Second, L'Œufrier, a chain of restaurants with branches across Quebec, opened its 40th establishment on Île-Perrot and plans to open seven more this year alone. The franchise focuses on culture and customer proximity, offering dishes with local names and products. It also emphasizes product quality by individually selecting each ingredient and regularly renewing its menus. L'Œufrier wants to be present in all neighborhoods of Quebec, including the smallest ones, and plans to double its number of addresses in the next five years. The chain has partnered with Anorexia and Bulimia Quebec to support the cause of eating disorders, with initiatives such as fundraisers and additional menu information to educate customers.

Finally, the Pastaga & Vins Nature restaurant is reopening its doors after being taken over by two new owners, Francis Duval and Geneviève Beaudoin. The former owner, Martin Juneau, had announced the closure of the establishment in October 2022. The new owners have worked together in the restaurant before and wish to return to the essence of the place by offering small dishes to share and good wine. The restaurant was created in 2011 by Martin Juneau, Louis-Philippe Breton, Alexandre Loiseau and Kévin Fromentin, but the first had been the sole owner for a few years.
