Fast delivery: El Rey del Taco, Commodore and À la Fût

Fast delivery: El Rey del Taco, Commodore and À la Fût

Is your resolution for 2024 to discover nice new things in your neighborhood? If so, here are some ideas if you live near the Jean-Talon Market or the Quartier des spectacles or if you plan to take a detour to Saint-Tite.

First, for a lively new year of discoveries, treat yourself to a gourmet getaway to the El Rey del Taco restaurant at the Jean-Talon Market, which has been offering authentic Mexican flavors since 2009. Celebrate with a Mexican-style taco evening, can - be with a take-out order, including a kilo of various meats and accompaniments. To integrate the flavors of El Rey del Taco into daily meals, make meal prep with varied proteins, facilitating a festive daily life all year round.

Next, head to downtown Montreal and check out the Commodore, located in the new Honeyrose Hotel. This place attracts attention with its impressive, Art Deco and sophisticated decor.

For its part, the restaurant offers sophisticated French cuisine with tasty and well-presented dishes. Popular dishes include leek vinaigrette and smoked scallop crudo. Main courses include Parisian-style gnocchi and roast lobster with a creative twist. The meal ends on a sweet note with desserts like intense black sphere and blackberry pavolva.

The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere ideal for chic, festive, romantic evenings, as well as elegant weekend brunches. As a bonus, the Commodore offers a coffee counter to fill your travel mug or enjoy a moment of reading or working.

Finally, the restaurant À la Fût, located in Saint-Tite, closed its doors for the winter season and is once again taking advantage of this period to develop new projects and a 2024 formula more adapted to the current economy.

Due to financial considerations, À la Fût announces a cohabitation with the company Les biscuits qui dansant, a bakery and pastry shop in Shawinigan. The bakery will move to Saint-Tite, occupying the space previously used to brew beer. Owner Philippe Dumais emphasizes the importance of reinvention in restaurants and this partnership offers benefits such as cost sharing, infrastructure and an opportunity to expand the customer base.

Happy discoveries!
