The restaurateurs participating in the new edition of poutine week, which will take place from February 1 to 7, promise to present once again their best creations of fries, cheese curds, sauce and that little something extra! This time again presented by Saputo and delivered by SkipTheDishes, it showcases local restaurateurs and, therefore, the importance of supporting them in the midst of a pandemic.
This is what is special this year. Celebrate poutine and celebrate local restaurateurs. They will try to charm you by highlighting local ingredients and thus increase their income in these special times for the industry.
“This year, more than ever, every poutine consumed is a sign of loyalty - for the restaurants, for us, for our community,” said event co-founder Na’eem Adam in a statement. We're here to support restaurants by helping them drive sales through a national platform that celebrates our most recognized and popular dish. The restaurant industry and the foodie community need good news, and Poutine Week is one of them. "
In addition to benefiting restaurateurs, the organization behind poutine week will, for a third consecutive year, donate one dollar per poutine sold in a restaurant participating in the Anorexie et boulimie Québec organization.
The names of the restaurants participating in the upcoming edition, in Montreal but also throughout Quebec and Canada, will be revealed later this week.
