In this new edition of Fast Delivery, we will discover the greener projects of St-Hubert, we will invite you to discover a documentary on local cuisine and finally we will unveil the identity of a new player in St-Romuald.

First, the St-Hubert restaurants have a new mission that they have been trying to put forward for a few months now and it will do the environmentalists' job. In fact, plastic straws have been banned from all restaurants since the summer of 2018. Delivery and packaging boxes are recyclable and compostable and almost 90% of establishments now collect residual materials. In addition, the fleet of delivery cars is increasingly composed of electric cars.

Then, documentary filmmaker Nicolas Paquet, who produced Canteen Spirit and Sweets, now recurs with Bush Chiefs. This new documentary features Kim Côté, Colombe St-Pierre and Pierre-Olivier Ferry, working in gourmet restaurants in Kamouraska, Bic and Métis-sur-Mer. Why them? Because they stopped buying tiger shrimp and they decided to offer more products caught in the river or gathered in the forest. In other words, they put forward an identity cooking, that of our terroir. The documentary is currently playing.

Finally, St-Romuald will welcome a new player next February. After the success of Entre-Côte Riverin in Jonquière, Chicoutimi and Beauport, work began at Carrefour St-Romuald for the arrival of a fourth branch. Born from a 100% Quebec concept nine years ago in Saguenay, popular for grilling, ribs and burgers, this one will be the only "bring your own wine" steakhouse on the South Shore of Quebec and will create a fifty jobs.
