Recently installed on the vibrant 3rd avenue of the Limoilou district in Quebec, the restaurant Poké & Ramen-moi catches the eye at first glance thanks to its bright colors and welcoming facade. My children, who love ramen and poké bowls, were excited by the idea of ??discovering this place during a mother-child outing on a Sunday lunchtime.

As soon as we entered, the decoration charmed us, and the lamps in the shape of Asian takeaway boxes immediately captured our attention. A unique touch that gives the place a fun and original character!

Faced with the menu, it took us a while to make our choice. Since it was new to us and the screen display was quite small, it wasn't so easy to navigate. Fortunately, the card is not overloaded! Once our orders were placed, we sat down to wait for service. The children took advantage of the wait to enjoy their exotic drinks: my son sipped a mango bubble tea, while my daughter discovered a Japanese sparkling mandarin drink.

When our dishes arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised by their beautiful presentation. My son even pointed out, amused, that for once, the dish really looked like the image on the menu – which is far from being the case in all chains!

My daughter enjoyed her Kanji tofu ramen, literally in heaven. At 9 years old, she particularly appreciated the fragrant broth, the perfectly browned tofu and the crunchy edamame. My son, 12 years old, was just as won over by his General Tao poké. He loved the tender chicken, sesame sauce and fresh vegetables.

For my part, I really enjoyed my Tataki tuna poke. The smoky taste of the fish surprised me at first, but it turned out to be very pleasant. Only small downside: I found the whole thing a little too salty.

We had a great time and recommend this address without hesitation!
