The month of August begins spectacularly in Lévis with five grandiose days on the program for the 41st edition of Festivent. There will be music shows for all tastes, family activities, rides and hot air balloons. The population of Chaudière-Appalaches looks forward to this great event every summer to celebrate and get together!

Obviously, there’s nothing like a good dinner at a restaurant to kick off the evening’s festivities. And there is no shortage of restaurants near the Festivent de Lévis site. As the choices can be difficult, let us suggest five interesting ideas for you for each of the evenings of the 2024 edition of Festivent.

Ballroom Country

Wednesday July 31, 2024

The first day of Festivent offers music fans stars Nate Haller and the Brothers Osborne, in addition to rides and hot air balloons.

Why not pair this musical style with an outing to Ballroom Country, a perfect atmosphere for festive cowboys and cowgirls. The menu is obviously inspired by the best in the United States, more precisely in Texas. The long bar is also inviting for anyone who wants to have a shot of Jack Daniel’s!

On your plate, you can find a beef tomahawk big enough that you have to share it with two or three other people, but also pork spare ribs, a strip steak aged for 60 days, burgers and even different kinds of poutine.

To accompany it all, their team of mixologists prepared original cocktails, but always in a cowboy and western spirit!

Lezzeta

Thursday August 1, 2024

Now that the ice is broken, the Festivent resumes with a vengeance for a second day. This time, Claude Bégin will take the stage at the start of the evening before giving way to Haviah Mighty and the Black Eyed Peas. These promise to delight your ears!

To prepare for this evening, have your meal at Lezzeta, located across the street from Parc Champigny.

You can enjoy good artisanal pizzas cooked over a wood fire in a warm atmosphere while sipping a homemade cocktail.

Pasta lovers will also find what they are looking for with their spaghetti, penne or linguini Alfredo, Bolognese, carbonara or seafood options.

Topla

Friday August 2, 2024

It's the official start of the weekend and the organizers of Festivent have delegated Jonathan Roy, the Sheepdogs and none other than Bryan Adams to help you celebrate.

For our part, we suggest an outing to Topla, this restaurant that pleases all pasta lovers. This beautiful restaurant chain has around ten addresses in the region and that of Lévis is well located in relation to the Festivent site.

Will you choose the classic Mac&Cheese? Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, three-cheese rosé ravioli or another choice?

Extra bacon, smoked meat, pulled pork or pancetta are also possible if you want to add a gourmet touch to your plate.

Are you in a hurry? All dishes are available for takeout.

Matto Lévis

Saturday August 3, 2024

The penultimate day of the festivities is the busiest in terms of programming costs. Hot air balloon flights are planned from supper time (weather permitting) and, as soon as it gets dark, it's the evening of illumination at the Place des montgolfières.

Also, young people's favorite YouTuber, Willibed will be on site from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In the evening, don't miss performances by Dumas and Simple Plan on the main stage.

But above all, take advantage of this Saturday to reserve your place at Matto. You will then discover Italy just a few blocks from Parc Champigny thanks to authentic and tasty cuisine, worthy of the recipes of Italian mamas.

Basil pasta, meat sauce and mozzarella gratin, meatballs, pasta carbonara, seafood pasta with choice of tomato or cream sauce, etc.

Some authentic pizzas are also on the menu, including the original Italian margherita pizza.

Fusée Rotisseries

Sunday August 4

After four days of festivity, perhaps it is time to take it a little more calmly. After all, some of you may have to return to work Monday morning. Others are luckier and see their vacation continue...

No matter your situation, a quick meal at Rôtisserie Fusée will do you the world of good before attending the latest series of all-Quebec shows: Pascale Picard, Marilyne Léonard and Daniel Bélanger.

La Rôtisserie Fusée is well known for its roast chicken served with fries, sauce, bread and coleslaw.

Quebec poutine lovers also do not hesitate to rank their poutine among the best in the province.

Also on the menu, you will find a selection of starters (chicken wings, onion rings, popcorn chicken, cheese sticks, munchers and croquettes), wraps, salads and ribs.
