Some restaurants have opted for this method to replace their servers. This is the case of a restaurant located in the northeast of China. The restaurant service is provided by robots that have a battery life of 20 hours. Waiters robots take orders, serve meals and can even chat with customers.

The customer simply uses when it finds an appetizing dish. In Quebec, the Montreal Kyozon restaurant offers this solution to its customers in addition to offering traditional table service.

5. Electronic Shelves
To save customers time, several restaurants are now using electronic tablet for placing orders. Pressed Consumers can view the menu on their arrival order when ready and even pay via the tablet before leaving. The server therefore pays more than the task of bringing food to table. This process can significantly reduce delays. Institutions that have implemented this method still leave the possibility for customers wishing to order the server, to do so. This is also the case of Bolt Burgers restaurant in Washington.
