With an experience of eight years at Toqué, Jean-Sebastien Giguere became the new chef of Montreal Decca 77. He presented a few days ago the new menu, on which he is working since May.

You’ll see two different concepts under the sign of simplicity. First, there is the bar menu, which is more friendly, and the other one is more an upscale menu.

Chef Giguère showcases Quebec products, such as Quebec strawberries, asparagus and cheeses.

The mission of the new chef, successor of Darren Bergeron, is to allow visitors to eat well at an affordable price.

Another challenge for Giguère is the atmosphere. Located in the city of Montreal, in an office tower, the restaurant has no difficulty to full on lunch time.

In the evening, the result is different. With the service manager, he will attempt to create a more relaxed atmosphere and much less modeled on a business restaurant.
