At Groupe Ashton, co-owners Emily Adam and Jean-Christophe Lirette have been at the helm for only two years, and during that time, they have made strategic acquisitions.
One of their most recent acquisitions is the iconic Drummondville restaurant Le Roy Jucep, founded in 1964 and widely recognized as the birthplace of poutine in Quebec.
The co-owners emphasize that Le Roy Jucep will remain unchanged and that all jobs will be preserved. Their main goal is to add value to the restaurant by giving it access to a team of resources available to assist in all areas of the restaurant business, such as marketing, human resources, purchasing, accounting, and more.
So, to the people of Drummondville: Le Roy Jucep will continue to be around for many years, with fresh energy in management while keeping the same great taste and service for its customers.
Congratulations to Groupe Ashton, and best wishes to Laurent Proulx, who will continue his activities with Groupe Le Canadien, which operates four restaurants in the Centre-du-Québec region.
