Here's a special edition of Fast Delivery as we take a look at three new additions to the restaurant world.
First, the unveiling of the new TV show La coupe BBQ took place recently. Chef Antonin Mousseau-Rivard and actress Debbie Lynch-White will co-host a new show called "La coupe BBQ" on Zeste in 2024. In this show, eight chefs will compete in duels to compete in creativity and know-how in order to win the title of master of the grill. Antonin Mousseau-Rivard will be the judge who will determine the winner of each duel. Each episode of the show, consisting of 10 30-minute episodes, will have a theme imposed on the contestants. Participating chefs include Mathieu Masson-Duceppe, Simon Jodoin Bouchard, Dominic Lamirande, Dominique Rioux, Jean-Rony Poteau, Fanny Lehouiller, Samuel Joubert, and Hugo Saint-Jacques.
Then, the entrepreneurs behind the Oui Oui café in Limoilou opened a new project, Oui Oui forest bar, on rang Sainte-Philomène, in La Malbaie. The refreshment bar will take place in the reception desk of Territoire Charlevoix, a campsite located in Sainte-Agnès. The opportunity arose during a discussion with the owner of Territoire Charlevoix, who was looking for partners to open a café on his site.
The new café will offer a variety of coffees and beverages, with flavors more focused on forests and mountains. The drinks and small dishes on the menu will showcase Charlevoix ingredients and products. Oui Oui forest bar will open its doors during a special evening on Friday at 5 p.m. to celebrate the event.
Finally, the owners of the Ratafia restaurant are opening a new pastry shop, Nanana, on July 12. The idea was born following the request of customers wishing to take away the restaurant's desserts. Nanana will be located at 155 rue Jean-Talon Est, near Ratafia, to develop an additional clientele. The new café will focus solely on take-out desserts, with a varied seasonal offer. The partners of Sandra Forcier and Jared Tuck financially support the project, which completes the Ratafia with a more frivolous and colorful atmosphere. The pastry shop has a team of pastry chefs who share the values of Ratafia, with an equitable distribution of tasks. Nanana aims to offer a unique experience with original and creative desserts, highlighting refined ingredients and specialized know-how.
