Laughter is gathering and has the effect of relaxing the atmosphere at any time. Some restaurants have decided to spice up their menu by adding a good dose of humor. It does not hurt and it cheers the evening! The efforts of some restorers from here are underlined.
Jaja la pizz
The restaurants Jaja la pizz, which have three addresses in Quebec City, have chosen to put a little craziness in their menu. For example, the entries section is named "Waiting for the pizza". Then, in the selection of pizzas, you can cling to a smile by ordering the waiter a pizza "I have the blues", of course topped with blue cheese. Among the other pizzas with humorous tone, let us note the pizza with the snails called the "Not fast". The "all dressed" also makes laugh; This is an original way of naming the traditional garnished.
The Mattresses
The Quebec microbrewery also added a touch of fancy to its menu. In its menu microbrewery, the section of the entries is called "Start with it, you will resume after". Original, right? Then, with reference to our legendary Quebec accent, we named the hot dog dish the "Hol-doy of giant sausages". Other humorous winks on the menu include "Lobster Rag and Shrimp" and "Raised Cuts".
The Pub of the Parvis
The Pub du Parvis, located in Saint-Roch in Quebec City, has a quite classic way of describing its dishes, but the name of one of the pub's specialties is particularly smile: "Labombe" Mayor. The dish in question is a giant fried risotto in panko crust stuffed with guinea fowl meat, cranberries, parmesan and sautéed mushrooms. Has the mayor already tried it?
Burger bar
At the Burger bar on Crescent Street in Montreal, we let go of our lunatic in the burgers section of the menu. The most comical prize is awarded to the sandwich called "Les femmes en raffolent". This is a sandwich filled with roasted chicken breast, bacon, avocado, tomato, onion, green salad and mayonnaise. We imagine the difficulty of ordering this dish to the waiter without laughing!
The Paris Grill
At the Paris Grill in Quebec City, it's more a lunchtime meal. One can, among other things, order a "Tgv Montréal-Québec", that is toast with a choice of rillettes of pork or homemade jams and a "Jogging on the banks of the St-Laurent" composed of a garnished vanilla yogurt A strawberry coulis, homemade granola and a choice of bread or mini-muffins.
The Beauty and the Beef
Already, with such a play on words skilful in the name of the restaurant, one can expect a little cocasserie on the menu. And that's the case! La Belle and Le Bœuf propose in particular the poutine "Hey le gros! "To the smoked meat and the cod plate called" Je m'en FISH ".
