Quick delivery: tips, Drummond in beer and KFC satchel

In this quick new installment, we'll tackle the topic of tips, present useful information about the Drummond in beer event and finally conclude with the presentation of KFC's new fashion piece.

Let’s tackle the tips issue first. Payments company Square has released statistics on the subject, mentioning that Canadians have been more generous with their tips since the pandemic. Quebecers are also following this trend, even surpassing the generosity of other provinces. Also according to Square, people are showing more empathy for employees in the restaurant and bar sectors, who have had to overcome several hardships due to COVID-19.
It may be necessary to make a small reminder about tips. Do you still know who to leave it to?

If so, when should we leave some and what percentage of our invoice amount is normal to leave as a “tip”? If you take the meal in the dining room, it is normal to leave about 15% of the bill, amount calculated before taxes. However, according to Square's report, Quebecers are more generous, offering around 18% over the past two years. If you do business with a delivery service instead, the minimum should be $5 or 10% of the bill. In the specific case of deliveries, pay close attention to the small details: it is likely that the tip is already included on your bill.

Let's now move on to the Drummond beer event, which will be presented in Drummondville from June 9 to 11. This is the fourth edition of the festival, which expects the visit of about 5,000 people over the weekend, lovers of microbrewery beers and local cuisine. Shows will also be presented on the stage set up in the center of the park. It's a date at Woodyatt Park!

Finally, KFC restaurants in Great Britain have released a red leather bag, the Wrapuette, which can be used to carry the brand new Wrap Twister sandwich. But beware, although the sandwich only costs $2, the satchel is considered a luxury product that retails for the modest sum of $320 Canadian! There is nothing too beautiful or too expensive when it comes to paying special attention to our favorite food!
