The little Italian restaurant, located on Bernard Street in Outremont, starts fresh, almost. In search of a breath of fresh air, the owners decided to rename the restaurant Pinokio in honor of the little character created by an Italian journalist and writer.

The menu focuses on local products but creative. '' We combine originality with Italian regional products, '' says the director. The card also offers antipasti such as vegetable trays, or carne Pinokio, combining flavors and know-how. Veal, cheese curds, duck ... the majority of the ingredients come from around Montreal.
Main courses include the Tartar, the tastiest pastas and always delicious risotto di faro which is famous in the area. These dishes may be followed by a delicious dessert and homemade with machine gelato and sorbets that the owners use. Kitchen open era reveals the quality of products.
The ambience of the restaurant is nice. A sauce jugs wall and a glazed cellar will accompany you during your dinner. The meal can be accompanied by the new Pinokio wine, made by a Quebec producer, and well balanced. It is unfortunately not on sale outside the business.
