Bistro Hortus signs a new seasonal brunch menu

Quebec City, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 - With the arrival of colder weather, Bistro Hortus knows how to please its clientele by unveiling a brunch menu enhanced with comforting options, each one as decadent as the next, in a 100% gluten-free formula! It's no surprise that the unmissable gourmet reference on St. John Street has once again produced a distinguished offering, focusing on quality organic food, prepared in such a way as to bring out the freshest flavours.

THE DESTINATION OF CHOICE FOR BRUNCH!

Bistro Hortus, which stands out from the crowd with its complete menu that is almost 100% organic, can now say that its new brunch menu is entirely gluten-free! Six tasty and comforting options are offered, highlighting local flavours. Among them, the inevitable Prince Edward's Brunch Poutine, composed of ratte potatoes, roasted butternut squash, a creamy smoked sauce and beef confit, topped with Île-aux-Grues cheddar and cheese curds, poached duck egg, béarnaise sauce and crispy bacon, Organic Royal Salmon, a semi-smoked salmon steak on a gluten-free multigrain bread, with a poached duck egg, hollandaise sauce, bacon, lacto-fermented rabiole with lemon zest and shellfish juice, Organic Du Breton, a duck egg omelette with pork loin lardons, Hatley Road cheese, chives, a small salad and seasonal vegetables, the Brin nature, scrambled duck eggs with candied shallots, fresh herbs, bacon and organic vegetables from the Manche de Pelle farm, the Cap Saint-Ignace, a happy mix of beans and pork with maple syrup, and finally the Oh Bio, a refreshing smoothie bowl with blackcurrant and sheep yogurt, homemade granola, maple espuma, pancakes, pumpkin jam and caramelized apples. Many options to satisfy the taste buds of fine gourmets, in addition to simplifying the life of many celiacs!

And why not complement it all with a distinctive beverage such as the Cafétini with coconut syrup and Buffalo Trace bourbon, the Hot Chocolate with homemade marshmallows, made with a milk chocolate ganache and maple syrup espuma, or the Réveille-Matin Spritz, a blend of Chandon Garden Spritz sparkling wine and 100% natural orange juice.

Available from 9:30am to 2pm, the Bistro Hortus brunch menu is available for $26.50 every weekend!
