In this new rapid delivery, we become a fashion reporter announcing the arrival of a new Crocs collection, we mark the tenth anniversary of Maison Smith and we talk about the expansion plans of Blaxton restaurants.

First, McDonald's and Crocs launched their first collaboration which includes a collection of Jibbitz shoes, socks and charms. The range offers classic clogs revisited with a McDonald's twist and a retro collection inspired by the chain's iconic characters. The shoes allow consumers to proudly display their love for both brands. You can get them on Crocs.ca, in Crocs stores and at certain wholesale partners, while stocks last. Prices range from $85 to $90 for shoes with JibbitzT charms and $25 for socks. The collaboration supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities, with a donation from McDonald's to help families of sick children access needed medical care.

Second, Maison Smith, a coffee company based in Quebec, is celebrating its tenth anniversary by launching a special coffee, Smithville. Since its opening in 2013 in Place-Royale, the company has enjoyed constant success, with ten branches, including a mobile unit. The owners are regularly asked to open new branches, but they favor a corporate model to carefully choose locations and create tailor-made concepts. The family behind the company includes entrepreneurs Jérôme Turgeon, Véronic Pelletier and Mathilde Plante-St-Arnaud.

Supply management from A to Z, coffee roasting since 2018 and a new Smithville café illustrate the continued expansion of La Maison Smith in the Quebec market, with potential prospects in Lévis.

Finally, the Blaxton Pub & Grill restaurant chain continues its expansion with the opening of a sixth restaurant in Laurier Québec scheduled for October 1, 2024. The $2.5 million investment was made by Éric Nadeau, Pierre- Olivier Tardif, François Tardif and Sébastien Lee Garceau. The Blaxton Laurier, designed by the Space Agency, will offer 300 seats with table service, filling the void left by the closure of the Sports Cage.

Moreover, the founders plan to open a Blaxton in Florida in the next five years and aim to have 40 restaurants in Quebec within eight years, with projects in Quebec, Trois-Rivières, Chicoutimi and the north. of Montreal, including Joliette and Saint-Jérôme. Blaxton Franchise Canada will build a central kitchen and distribution center to support this growth and is also developing products for grocery stores.

Despite the expansion, the chain maintains quality, inventory control and does not transfer costs to customers, underlines vice-president Antoine Rouleau. Blaxton restaurants already exist in Cartier, Lebourgneuf, the Quebec airport and Saint-Romuald (Lévis).
