To spend a refreshing day when you are in the Laurentians region, you must stop at the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park. You will discover water slides installed directly in the mountain, making it a unique center of its kind. After so much excitement, you will undoubtedly want to have a good meal nearby and this is where we can help you.

Indeed, we are going to suggest a list of restaurants near the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park, which will allow you to complete your perfect day.

The water park located in Saint-Sauveur is the largest of its kind located directly on the mountain. There are a total of 27 water slides and even a ride park. With access to the Water Park, you get free entry to the six ground rides at the F.U.N. Park.

And if it rains during your visit? You will be given a free ticket for an additional day to use when the sun warms the site again.

Sommet Saint-Sauveur

Directly on the Water Park site, you can have a good bite to eat when the day is over, with friends or family.

This is the case at the T-Bar Terrace. First, several wines, beers and cocktails (with or without alcohol) are available to help you relax.

To satisfy your appetite, you can choose between salads, such as the Coureur des bois (crispy baby spinach and arugula leaves, garnished with parmesan and asiago cheese, maple caramelized walnuts, sautéed apples and smoked bacon and balsamic vinaigrette), sandwiches, such as the T-Barger 70 (6 oz. grilled beef patty, brioche bun, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, spicy mayonnaise and pickles) and pizzas, such as the Skieur pizza (tomato sauce, smoked meat, bacon, sautéed onions and mozzarella).

A special children's menu is also available à la carte: a pogo and fries, two chicken fillets and fries, half a poutine or half a pizza.

Crêperie Gourmandise Bretonne

If you would rather start the day off on the right foot before tackling the mountain and its water slides, we suggest a visit to the Crêperie à la Gourmandise Bretonne. It opens at 11 a.m. every morning, except Monday and Tuesday.

This restaurant, which has been open since 1986, is ready to welcome more than 150 people at the same time in this century-old house located in the heart of the village of Saint-Sauveur.

Here, of course, you can enjoy crepes, including their specialties with Matane shrimp, snails, smoked salmon, King chicken or seafood. Also, don’t hesitate to try their Italian crepes: pizza (cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and tomato sauce) or veggie pizza (cheese, mushrooms, peppers, onions, green olives and tomato sauce).

If you decide to go there in the evening, after your crazy day at the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park, you can also enjoy Chinese fondues, cheese fondues or raclettes.

No matter the time of day, you should always end your visit with a chocolate fondue or salted caramel fondue!

Le Saint Sau Pub Gourmand

If you're still feeling festive, you should visit Le Saint Sau! Here, the warm decor and abundant light create an unparalleled atmosphere. Plus, there are over 200 music shows per year. If you're lucky, you'll be there at the right time.

In fact, the wine list includes bottles of private imports and you can also choose from a selection of beers from the Shawbridge microbrewery.

The mountain-inspired cuisine is homemade and all the producers are local. Choose from a selection of tapas (mini beef burgers, grilled duck drumsticks, rillettes with two salmons, etc.), several choices of starters (bowl of olives, beef tartare, fried calamari, gravlax and smoked salmon duo, etc.) and main courses (several meal salads, poutines, burgers, sausages, pasta, fish).

It is also possible to arrive early and have breakfast before your day at the waterslides.

La Tablée

For those who are passing through the Laurentians as tourists and who happen to sleep at the Manoir Saint-Sauveur, you can start your day at its restaurant La Tablée.

Lunch is served as a full all-you-can-eat buffet. A nice selection of cold-pressed juices and smoothies is offered.

For dinner, discover the famous authentic pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Other choices such as pasta, seafood and fish are also available on the à la carte menu, as is a special children's menu and a wine, beer and cocktail list.

Le Lounge

Finally, visit the Lounge, this Saint-Sauveur restaurant-bar that offers a gourmet menu that can pair well with their choice of wines, beers or cocktails.

Some evenings, musical events are planned to ensure a warm atmosphere.

Do as we did and start with the oysters as a starter, the lounge burger (beef patty, cheese sauce, bacon confit, shallots, tomatoes and lettuce, served with a side) as a main meal.

You could also have chosen a starter to share (salmon carpaccio, jerk tacos, octopus tacos) or, for a main course, the shrimp roll, the squash risoto or the chef’s poutine (grilled chicken, classic sauce, cheese curds with green onions, cilantro, queso fresco cheese and sour cream).
