Small budgets? Go to Cinko!

I mentioned the Cinko restaurant in Montreal several times in different articles on Restoenligne.com, including 4 addresses at low prices! and 10 hot dogs reinvented! It was high time that I try it myself. The restaurant first attracts for its concept: dishes at $ 5. It's okay!

The property is located in the basement of a building on Rue St-Denis in Montreal. From the outset, we are very welcome. As I was dining alone, I was seated at the bar. I found the attention very nice, because it makes you feel less alone. The staff was ultra-friendly and instantly put me at ease.

I walk the map: yes, the dishes are $ 5, but we must order a drink. So I opted for a pink lemonade. Well sweet, the slush style juice I liked a lot.

For the serious stuff, I chose the $ 5 fish & chips taco. However, the accompaniment is not understood. You must add $ 2 more for a salad or fries if you want. I leaned for the greenery, because I was afraid of not filling my hunger with only tacos. The plate came to me in the blink of an eye, to my surprise and that of the bartender! She was well presented and the tacos appetite. They were really delicious, a breaded fish garnished with guacamole and salsa tomatoes and fresh onions. A little lettuce and some fries completed the whole thing. The set was great and exploded in the mouth! I loved the taco halfway between the soft and the rigid, which stood well without breaking or soggy. Hat! The filling even remained wisely in the flat bread. However, I was a little disappointed in the salad. For $ 2 more, she was very small and soulless. One or two radishes embellished it and that's all.

The place is also a little dark, but it still jovial. I liked the experience, although it is rather difficult to get away with a bill with less than two digits, but the addition remains in the very reasonable!
