Quebec, Friday, June 26, 2020 - La Cabane du Pêcheur is the friendly window order offer with flavors of the sea from Brasserie Les Mordus. The inventive concept comes to life on the facade of the restaurant overlooking rue des Jardins, where fish and seafood lovers can order on the go, then enjoy their meal at the Place de l'Hotel de Ville or in the parks surrounding Old Quebec. Opened last December at the Clarendon Hotel, the Les Mordus Brewery designed the Fisherman's Cabin specifically to meet the current demand of Quebecers due to the crisis.

The playful and fun concept brings together the essentials of the menu. From one of the building's large windows, a lobster roll, the famous fish & chips, chowder and other local specialties are served daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. As usual, Les Mordus hired a local artist to design the Fisherman's Cabin. Marie-Pier Pagé erects oars, sandals and a lobster cage in an inviting maritime setting.

As the first summer season of Les Mordus is officially launched, the restaurant welcomes guests on its charming terrace and in its dining room for lunch during the week and every evening. On weekends, the famous Munchie brunches are back until 3 p.m.

A new chef takes the helm
Martine Plante and Emmanuelle Villa, co-owners of Les Mordus, are pleased to announce that Jonathan Jeanrie, who has served as chef du Montego for 14 years, takes over the kitchens of Brasserie Les Mordus. He showcases his creativity in a new diverse menu that navigates around seafood, but also meat dishes and vegetarian plates.
