From now until September 24, 2019, the third edition of the Pizza Fest of Montreal and Quebec City is in full swing. Everything is in place at participating restaurants, who are now waiting for you to discover their recipe specially prepared for the occasion.
While the burger week has just wrapped up, the Pizza Fest will charm another category of foodie: pizza lovers hiding in every corner of the province.
Over the next two weeks, gourmets will be able to enjoy pizzas specially prepared by more than 60 restaurants from across the Island of Montreal and the Greater Quebec City area. This is not pizza that you normally find on the menu of the establishment. All in all, you only have two weeks to taste! After, it will be too late.
It is now possible to discover which restaurants will try to win your votes by preparing the best pizza. They are divided into four categories: Neo-Napolitan pizza, Al Taglio pizza, gourmet pizza or pizza delivery. They will have to demonstrate all their know-how and push their creativity to the extreme in order to dazzle your taste buds.
Once your tasting is complete, you must visit the official Pizza Fest website to rate your dining experience. Among all those who voted, a trip to Italy will be offered. Several secondary prizes are also at stake for the public, among others to enjoy even more pizza!
On the restaurant side, the restaurant that receives the most votes will receive the honorable mention. Then, the organizers of the Pizza Fest will nominate five finalists, at least one by category, who will be visited by Luca De Marinis, named the best pizza maker in the world, for his Neapolitan pizza Margherita at the most recent International Pizza Expo.
