We love diversity, even when it comes to biting into a burger? Simple, this legendary sandwich can turn into a true gastronomic experience. Breads, toppings, proteins, condiments, the possibilities are endless with a bit of imagination. Here are 5 of the most creative burgers found on the menus of restaurants here.

1. Mark's Creation
In terms of originality, we can not give better! Mark's Creation is a burger appearing on the Burger Royal restaurant menu on St-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. The sandwich consists of a slice of your choice (beef, fried or grilled chicken, veggie), fried banana, bacon, cheddar cheese and peanut butter. Hmm ... all tastes are in nature, they say!

2. The Big Pig
To taste a different hamburger, Chez Victor is the right address in Quebec City! The restaurant has 10 branches in the area. The inventive menu includes Le Gros Cochon, a burger filled with pork, bacon, 26-month-old Beemster XO cheddar, spicy zucchini relish, Victor "smokey spices" ketchup, breaded pickle and beverage, served between two yellow cheddar grilled cheese . Really, there is something to feast on!

3. MAC PAC

The restaurant La Belle & Le Boeuf shows a lot of imagination and even daring on its menu. There are 7 establishments currently in Quebec and a new restaurant will be opened soon in Florida. Among the wide selection, we were impressed by the Pac Mac, whose pancakes of mac n'cheese fries cover the burger garnished with relish, mustard, ketchup, tomato and red onion.

4. Espresso Burger
For a burger that could almost be enjoyed as a dessert, head to the Griffintown Café on Notre-Dame Street West in Montreal to enjoy the Burger Expresso. This original creation is actually a Griffintown burger (with a choice of meat among beef, duck, lamb) glazed with espresso and dark chocolate with blue cheese and bacon with maple syrup.

5. Lobster burger
If you want to pay a little luxury, we go straight to Notkins on the street of Bleury in Montreal to enjoy the lobster burger. Served with homemade fries, it is simply garnished with piri-piri aioli, arugula and aged cheddar cheese.
