He long ago that I had not eaten at Pacini. It's not that I have anything against the chains, but my heart usually looks for smaller restaurants.

It was to celebrate a birthday in the family that I had been invited to the Pacini Lebourgneuf. A popular place to celebrate the jubilee it goes without saying, since at least 5 other tables celebrating a loved one, just like us. We immediately understand why, because the place is friendly, warm and friendly; as good ingredients for a successful anniversary. And after all, who does not love pasta?

Upon entering, I immediately vibrated on for decoration. bright red, it is current and trendy. WE love. The glazed cellar, large chandeliers, the bar off, everything works. It also likes glazed private rooms that offer privacy while not feeling so far isolated. The restaurant there is installed only a few years and it shows. Parking is large and it is located in a growing business district. I also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and makes you feel in a small Italian grocery penetrating. A delicatessen counter to our left and smaller outlets where you can stock up on pasta, sauces and other condiments in the Italian grand entrance.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the attention given to allergies, since they are becoming more common and that our group was not an exception. On the door, we can clearly see the statement that the institution has Epipen: it's reassuring! Then, alternatives are offered without dangers for people with food allergies. We also did a little side health effort, it is possible to order whole wheat pasta and is indicated to have reduced fat and salt.

The classic bread bar is of course still popular. whole wheat slices There roasted, white bread or multigrain bread that kind of margarine, garlic, pesto or tomato and basil.

On the menu, there is a nice variety of pizzas and pastas plus some fish dishes and meat. To begin the festivities, the whole table shared the fried parmigiana. A stroke of heart! Served in a paper cone paper, these matches fries intermingle with julienned zucchini and fried onions, and are sprinkled with parmesan and herbs. The main course, I opted for penne with duck confit. A nice plate cleverly combining asparagus, green onions and goat cheese. The dish was very good, but the duck confit almost put a touch of extra love.

Despite some omissions, the service was very attentive. Care was taken to listen to the demands of children seriously.

Although the chain has existed for many years, I am delighted that it has evolved to meet the needs of today's customer while keeping its Italian soul!

The Pacini Lebourgneuf: perfect for celebrating the flavors of Italy!
