A true Quebécoi food experience. There is something for everyone on this menu. I had the best French onion soup of my life followed by a piece of maple syrup pie. I was sitting next to a couple that had come in several times during their stay in Québec City and I see why. The service was extremely friendly, the atmosphere is 100% Quebec Canadian, on the food was wonderful. Do yourself a favor and go!!! (Do yourself a favor and visit the washroom while you're there. It's an extension of this restaurant's 100% uniqueness!)

This was by far our favorite place in Quebec City to eat.... service was impeccable, food was Amazing and $12 for your first Mimosa and $2 for everyone after, pretty good deal. Highly recommend La Buche

We came to Quebec City from British Columbia and were really excited to finally try authentic Quebec poutine after hearing so much hype about it. Unfortunately, La Bouche was a big disappointment for us. The fries were quite soft and soggy rather than crispy, the gravy wasn’t hot enough to properly melt the cheese curds, and overall the flavor just felt really off to our taste. The cheese stayed hard and cold the entire time, which we honestly didn’t enjoy. Maybe this is just the traditional Quebec style and we’re more used to West Coast poutine, but to be completely honest, we actually preferred the poutine we get at Costco back home because the fries are crispier, the cheese melts properly, and the gravy is hotter and more flavorful. It’s too bad because we were genuinely looking forward to experiencing amazing poutine while visiting Quebec, and this just didn’t live up to the hype for us at all.

This place is charming and a local gem! The highlight for me was the extensive non-alcoholic beverage list, that was comparable to a regular alcohol menu! It had a full list of mocktails, non-alcoholic beer, and non-alcoholic wine unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The food was comforting yet elevated, and the service was attentive. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try local cuisine, especially those who like non-alcoholic drink options.

Great experience, love the atmosphere. Be aware that antipasto in Quebec is certainly very different, so ask your server to explain. Food is excellent and authentic Quebecois! Highly recommend!

I ordered the shepherd's pie and it was fabulous! Probably my favorite dinner for the week we were in Quebec City. The mashed potatoes were on the bottom, very creamy and then what tasted like fresh corn on top of that, and the best was the delicious roast meat on top which was so flavorful! I can't stop thinking about that dish and wish I had the recipe!! We loved the atmosphere and the service was great too! I highly recommend it! Tip: We made reservations in advance.

Great food, busy atmosphere- feels a bit like a cruise ship tourist trap but the food makes up for it. Cocktails are okay. Price is a little high. Service was fine and friendly.
