Demi Chicken was amazing, perfectly cooked and spiced well. The owner and employees were awesome and we had lots of laughs and memories of this little place to take with us on our trip. Would definitely come back!

l used to buy their barbecued chicken for lunch when l was working nearby. Yesterday, l went to the restaurant with a friend. What a pleasant experience! The chicken was spicy and tender, my sandwich was delicious. Paul, who served my friend and l, had an amazing sense of humor. l left the place laughing. l will keep visiting this place every time l go to Plateau. Bravo to the whole team! Guys and girls, you rock!

My god was this restaurant a real treat .. heard about it and decided to give it a try, now I’m hooked.. definitely going back in the very near future.. chicken and ribs were out of this world and my son said that the Tony supremo sandwich was the best he ever had ..

Food great!! The chicken is great!! The pork cutlet is juicy!! The ribs are good! Worth it! The rice taste great! The potato though, those are amazing 👏 🤩!

One of the best Portuguese spots in town. Update to my review, new owners now and the place is a lot nicer! Cool vibe with the mural. However, it has lost a lot of its spirit and doesn’t really have anything traditionally Portuguese on the menu, sadly walked out when I saw the new menu. A bit disappointing as it was one of my fave Portuguese spots. I’m leaving my review as is because I didn’t try the new menu so I want to be fair.

I went to Portugalia for the first time and I had the Tony Supremo sandwich. This sandwich is top-notch, hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is so soft and fresh, the chicken is perfectly marinated and melts in your mouth. The staff is so friendly too. They make you feel like family. I am definitely going back.

The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I was stuck outside my apartment because my door froze, and I came into Portugalia to wait. They welcomed me right away and even offered me a poutine (genuinely one of the best I’ve had in Montreal). Thank you again for the kindness, generosity, and amazing food. I won’t forget this experience!

One of the best portuguese grills in Montreal. I have been numerous times in the past 20 years, and ordered delivery also numerous times in the past 5 years. I usually go for the grilled chicken (spicy) and natas. Always the same excellent flavor.

I’ve been coming to Portugalia in Montreal for years, and the food is always incredible! Paolo went above and beyond, providing exceptional, attentive, and friendly service that made our visit truly memorable. If you want the best authentic Portuguese chicken cooked on charcoal, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!
