In addition to celebrating its tenth anniversary in style, Vieux-Québec's restaurant Côtes-à-Côtes unveils a new summer menu and puts three street trucks on the road. This is the perfect opportunity to discover these novelties and enjoy the unparalleled view of one of the most beautiful and large terraces of Old Quebec!
This new menu leaves room for the freshness, decadence and carnivorous specialties that are the hallmark of the restaurant, while leaving pride of place to plates featuring local products.
With such a name, there is no doubt that the specialty and the pride of Côtes-à-Côtes are the spare ribs. This summer, discover these back ribs, braised beef or red deer laced with ice cider, braised in the oven for seven to eight hours, then caramelized with one of three tasty homemade sauces.
Owner Nicolas Lavigne has also chosen to add a panoply of mouthwatering dishes, such as salmon tartare, cucumber, lime and coriander, scallop and Mamirolle fondant, parmigiana bassa, duck tartare from Quebec and its truffled aioli, caramelized onion poutine and bacon spell, or mac n'cheese, Perron cheese and Sortilège bacon crisp. Many dishes for two or to share are also included on the new menu, in starter format or main course, including the BBQ tray, the Grand Cru tray, or the gargantuan Surf N 'Turf!
Street Trucks
Since the launch of its first street truck in 2017, Côtes-à-Côtes has been a staunch supporter of street food culture since its beginnings in Quebec City. This summer, Côtes-à-Côtes offers the public the chance to discover the delights of its cuisine thanks to its fleet of street trucks. This one, now made up of three mobile units, will once again roam the roads and public places of the region during the summer, in addition to participating in a host of outdoor activities and festivals in the area, including Hit The Floor, Grand Boucan, Rickard's BBQ Fest, Wendake International Pow Wow, ComediHa !, Festibière de Québec and many others.
Whether for a private or corporate event, or a festival, The Mobile Zebra, The Mobile Zebreau, or the trailer Cabane du Zèbre (a real poutine bar!) Move by reservation.
Note that from June 24 to September 2, La Zebra Mobile will be permanently installed at the Baie de Beauport to offer something for the many bathers and families who enjoy the joys of summer.
More than just a stop for tourists, the Côtes-à-Côtes restaurant, which welcomes nearly 125,000 guests a year, is definitely a must to enjoy Québec City! Although the visual aspect of the place is breathtaking, the menu is far from giving place.
