Laval, November 10, 2020 - As the International Day of Kindness draws near on November 13, Quesada Burritos & Tacos officially launches its "Kindness Menu" today - a long-term effort to spread goodness and joy across Quebec by making donating and sharing something as easy as ordering a burrito or browsing Instagram.

The campaign officially begins by helping to thwart the growing problem of food insecurity. A portion of sales of select menu items will be used to support Second Harvest Food Rescue, Canada's largest food aid organization from November 1 to December 31, benefiting local beneficiary organizations such as Action Familles de La Plain and La Grande Table; the Canadian Red Cross International Relief Fund: COVID-19, January 1 to February 28, and the David Suzuki Foundation, March 1 to April 30. Quesada will also use all of its platforms to inform and inspire its guests and followers.

“Kindness always snowballs, which is why we are delighted to put it on the menu at Quesada restaurants. With the cuteness menu, we want to give and share, something as easy as ordering a burrito or browsing social media! »Declared Valérie Dubuc, franchise owner in Laval.

Quesada's menu of kindness is offered in its restaurants across Quebec, in the regions of Montreal, Sherbrooke, Laval, Longueuil, Chicoutimi, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, Terrebonne, Pointe-Claire and Saint-Hubert.

Quesada Spreads Kindness Everywhere The staff at Quesada have a long history of spreading kindness and benevolence in communities. These ongoing efforts will continue with activities including donations to organizations that benefit from Second Harvest Food Rescue, across the country, until International Day of Kindness and beyond.

“At a time when kindness to others is more important than ever, it's fantastic to see Quesada and its franchisees come up with the idea of ??being kind to others with small and big gestures,” says Lori Nikkel, President and CEO of Second Harvest Food Rescue. “As an organization that seeks to both alleviate hunger and preserve the environment, it is very touching for us to see Quesada make a commitment to help people and the planet.
