Quebec City, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 - Nihon Sushi, well known to gourmets who frequent the Maguire sector, has recently had a complete makeover. A whole new administration has taken possession of this jewel of rue Bergeville and made it one of the best sushi addresses in Quebec! New atmosphere, new decor and above all, new menu! The dining room has just reopened its doors after renovations. Now is the time to feast on the freshest, highest quality produce available. For a reduced-price lunch menu, slate or à la carte, in the dining room, for take-out or delivery, all the solutions are good for discovering the new Nihon Sushi.

IN RESPECT OF TRADITIONS

The new Nihon Sushi is proud to use products of irreproachable quality, from sustainable fishing but above all, of incomparable freshness. Freshness is the first term used when it comes to describing the Nihon philosophy. The arrivals allow the team to process the fresh fish several times a week!

With a rather purist tendency, the new Nihon Sushi menu obviously offers sushi, but also traditional Japanese dishes as well as a few plates borrowed from more modern cuisine. The delicate fish and seafood dishes are therefore prepared respecting traditions with a touch that enhances the flavors and gives Nihon Sushi all its color!

The house specialties are unmissable: the Sashimi Plateau is full of freshness, scents and colors that are a real joy for all the senses. Nigiri Nihon are unlike any other since each one is garnished with sauce, caviar or fish roe to make the flavors explode. Not to mention the very popular Tuna Bluefin Tataki starter with its homemade ponzu sauce.

A CHANGING MENU OVER THE SEASONS

To this fabulous menu, which is already very tempting, we add little pleasures over the months. In season, crab, lobster, shrimp or oysters inspire new creations on the menu. The visits thus offer new features at each passage. Sundays are also the perfect day to experiment since the discovery selection is offered at 20% off for take-out or delivery.

For a festive touch, in mid-December, a special holiday menu will be offered by the brigade, for a Christmas that goes off the beaten track!

In addition to new pleasures on the plate, Nihon Sushi 2.0 offers a completely redesigned decor and a new atmosphere. Sober and soothing, this modern environment is made up of dark colors and noble materials which promote privacy despite the small size of the room. A few eye-catching decor elements, deployed sparingly, provide an energy and vitality that add to the ambiance. Of course, Nihon Sushi delicacies are available for take out or delivery, but a visit to the dining room is a must!

A NEW ADMINISTRATION YOUNG AND FULL OF PROJECTS

A hell of a team took over the reins of Nihon Sushi a few months ago. Restaurant lovers, all with complementary strengths. A troupe that breathes youth, with ideas in their heads and passion in their hearts!

Director of operations, Chloé Sirois oversees the day-to-day functioning of human resources, merchandise management, standardization and product quality. Having worked for several years in Japanese cuisine restaurants, she knows how to recognize freshness and good pairings. In fact, she is in charge of the wine and alcohol list.

Mathieu Villeneuve is in charge of administration, accounting and development. Energetic, he never stops and lets himself be guided by a thousand and one projects simultaneously. He is accompanied on a daily basis by Catherine Bergeron-Duchesne who is responsible for web marketing.

And the magician behind all the Nihon Sushi flavors and treats is Alexanne Grenier, chef and co-owner.
