Poutine lovers have long reserved their weekend from August 22 to 24 and it is in Drummondville that they meet up. Yes, it is Thursday that begins the 12th Festival of poutine, organized by the members of the Three Agreements and their team.

Of course, strong performances are planned on both stages during the three days of celebration: Simple Plan, Bernard Adamus, Koriass, Loud, Pirate Heart and many others. No luck for the latecomers, the tickets are all sold for the evenings of Friday and Saturday. Yeah, it's like that!

For the lucky ones who have been able to get their hands on tickets, probably the biggest fans of poutine and music, you already know that you will have plenty of mouth and ears.
The national poutine competition is back in full force and ten restaurants will compete for the greatest number of votes from festival-goers and be crowned champions. Will the restaurant Gras Dur, winner of the Golden Fork in 2018, repeat the feat for a second year in a row?

Bob le Chef will be on hand as honorary co-chair, sharing the title with Simon Proulx and Charles Dubreuil of the Three Agreements. He will give a culinary workshop on Saturday at 5 pm.

Everything takes place on the Marcel-Dionne Center website.
