In this new edition of fast delivery, we invite you to celebrate the arrival of three Quebec restaurants in a prestigious Canadian list, to underline the anniversary of a popular restaurant in Quebec and the return of beef from here to McDonald's.
First, the popular TripAdvisor site unveils several awards each year. This year, three establishments in Quebec received distinctions. In the category of the best restaurants in the country, we find the Laurie Raphaël in 3rd place and the Continental just behind, in 4th place. Rankings are determined based on reviews and ratings given by site visitors over the past 12 months. Note that the restaurant la Cuisine de Chicoutimi takes its place in the category of the best choices for the year 2020, according to customers and tourists who recently left comments.
Then, the Chic So! Pizzeria! turns 30 this month. The popular restaurant in Quebec's Cap-Rouge district has been delighting pizza lovers in the Old Capital since the 90s, so popular that dozens of customers had to turn back every day. The restaurant can claim to be one of the greenest in the country. The first electric car dedicated to delivery in Canada? It's Chic So! who started it!
Finally, the multinational McDonald's has confirmed its intention to resume sourcing entirely from Canadian beef now. Due to COVID-19, the channel had to temporarily turn to the United States to meet demand, as Canadian producers were more limited at the start of the pandemic and because an outbreak of the virus had taken place in a Alberta processing plant.
