There's this kind of restaurant where they come back again and again without tiring. The Cosmos is certainly part of my list. Difficult to remember how many times I went to enjoy my evening or at the branch of Ste-Foy or that of Grande-Allée. Although I am the kind of person to always embrace the new kitchen at each of my visits to the Cosmos, I can not help but order the same food in the Scandinavian pulp.
There are a few years, I fell in love with these delicious penne pasta with olive oil, basil, smoked salmon, fresh tomatoes, red and green onions, French shallots, green pepper and white wine. Since then, impossible to resist. So, while the evening menu is enticing air, unfortunately I can not tell you about the rest of the card.
There was a moment that I did not return to the Cosmos and it's for the Sunday lunch I chose to reconnect to the branch Lebourgneuf, I had never tried.
Upon entering, the decor has something to our attention. It is literally blazing. The centerpiece of the dining room: a spectacular colorful tree that gives panache to the decor. Small alcoves wood also offer some privacy for small groups while embellishing the scene. The benches comfortable velvet also give a chic side to the place. Besides the magnificent aquarium. Needless to say, there is something to entertain during the service! Both the restaurant wants trendy evening, as it is the meeting place for small families lunchtime.
In late lunch, I elected the plate drive to fill my appetite. The variety of food which consisted liked. Indeed, the dish included a whole assortment: poached egg, grilled chicken and hollandaise sauce on English muffin, pâté, fried potatoes with bacon, mini croissant, mini bagel with sesame seeds, cottage cheese, fruit salad, fruit fields, pineapple, orange and watermelon.
Through this diversity, the gold prize goes to small potatoes. Frankly delicious! In return, the consolation prize is awarded to grilled chicken. The texture really do not like me, so that bites convinced me to leave completely aside and dwell rather the rest of the dish. The poached egg was delicious, however. I enjoyed my mini-croissant and my mini-bagel that satisfied my side taste everything without going overboard. Fruits fulfilled their promise. The pâté was very good, but without baguette, it loses a little interest.
The person who accompanied me however feasted his cosmic casserole, one of the restaurant's specialties.
With tasteful service, fresh juices impressive card and a nice variety of choices for breakfast, I'm willing to forgive the little addicted to my plate and come back again and again, even in the morning!
