The food was amazing, but what really blew me away was the atmosphere , absolutely incredible! A huge shoutout to Sam, who made us feel right at home and was so attentive. Honestly loved every second of it. If you’re looking for the perfect cozy spot to spend time with your loved one, this is THE place. So warm and welcoming!

I rarely post reviews but I felt warranted to let everybody know that I was truly disappointed by the quality of the food. The ambience of the restaurant was great, unfortunately, the meat was tasteless. No salt, no pepper, no seasoning. The lamb had a strong smell and it tasted old. The vegetables were not seasoned. At the start, the miso soup was lukewarm and had no flavour in its taste, which was a strong disappointment. I didn't even finish the soup unfortunately. Even the jalapeños were rotten. The desserts, especially the mango ice cream tasted artificial while the spongecake was dry. I really wanted this place to live up to its great atmosphere but unfortunately, I will not be back unless the quality of the food increases, given the price that they charge.

We really enjoyed food at Taiyo on the first floor for the AYCE Barbecue 😝 The food was soooo good, loved the salt and pepper shrimp and general tao hot dishes, I really recommend it. William, Steven and Jiayin were so efficient with the service and so nice, always greeting us with a smile 😄 The meat was so fresh and neatly arranged with a lot of variety that you can order from! Managers Hannah and Joe were so welcoming and always making sure we were enjoying our time here! Pretty Olivia was also so nice and always smiling to all the customers 😉🥰🥰 AND The mocktail drinks served by Lucas were amazing and so refreshing, a perfect combination with the food👍🏼 I am definitely coming back to try the sushi on the second floor as well 😆😆 10/10 recommended

Had a great experience at Taiyo Cité in Montreal! We went for the AYCE barbecue and the meat quality was really good, everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere was super fun too, they even have these cool little robots bringing out food which makes it different from your usual spot. Loved that they celebrate birthdays as well, it adds a nice vibe to the place. Service was smooth all around, everyone was friendly and attentive. Shoutout to William and Steven for keeping things clean and running, Juwon and Lucas at the bar for being welcoming, and managers Hannah and Joe for clearly leading a great team. Overall, really enjoyable experience Would definitely come back!

Atmosphere was great, and service was good. We went for the all you can eat sushi and sadly we waited 1h40mins for our sushi order, and with a seating time of only 2hrs we were extremely disappointed. Our waitress was extremely nice, but sadly there was nothing they could do since they couldn’t actively speak with the kitchen staff. I hope in time they can fix the internal issues they have. We still ended up paying $100+ in total, which we believe was not worth it for the amount of food we got. Current Price: Dinner on weekends = $50.95 per person.

Service and atmosphere very nice. Sushi was ok, lower tier of the AYCE places. The hot food was AWFUL. Avoid it. It all came out cold and bland and grey. Beef skewer was particularly disgusting. It's also like $8ish more expensive than other AYCE sushi places nearby. Would skip next time for a different one!

Btw very bad service from ur manager. We came in at 8pm waited for 20 minutes so we can join the waiting list then one of the employees told us that the waiting time is 2 hours ( u close at 10:30 pm) then when she asked the manager she just looked at us very annoyed as if she’ll pay for us instead and made a face in front of us telling the employee that she can’t do anything about it it’s full. I do understand it could be very frustrating but that’s ur job and u must give customers a good service . Overall didn’t try tge food

We visited the 1st floor, th BBQ. The music and screens give a good vibe. They had a good amount of options to try, the service was really fast and more impressive, the attention from Yuan who kept checking on us, to keep the table clean all time long. We didn't empty a dish without her already there taking it out. Definitely I'll be back to check the other floors but I recommend to book in advance.

Went to taiyo for dinner tonight and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. We went to the second floor for sushi. There were so many options for sushi, it includes some meat items as well. The food was all fresh and delicious. The only thing that was better than the food was the service. Our server Daphne took care of us and she was so quick to accommodate us. She was sweet and made our experience so fun. I would recommend this AYCE spot over other ones in the downtown area.

New sushi and BBQ restaurant. I had the all-you-can-eat sushi lunch. The decor of the place is lovely. It’s colourful and relaxing. You kind of feel like you’re in an aquarium. Service was amazing. My waiter was Catherine. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. Foodwise, I found the sushi ok but there was not too much variety. There wasn’t much option for sashimi either. The tempura batter was not authentic but tasted good. In all, I had a nice lunch and would come back to try the BBQ.

Came during the lunch time. The menu was perfect. A good amount of beef and pork options. Honestly had everything you need for a good AYCE bbq. Service was quick, however it wasnt super busy when i was there, if it is for you then it could be possible service is slower. But keep in mind they just opened recently. As for my experience. Orders came in at a timely fashion, i really enjoyed the conveyor belt and train delivery system, reminiscent of dining experiences i had in Japan. Food was overall pretty good. The only improvement i would say would be on the plates section, i tried the general tao chicken to see how it was. It was crunchy and had a bit of flavor but very little to no meat. Obviously you come for the meat and sushi, which were absolutly delicious, but if they want to improve, that would be one. Aside from that the decoration is amazing. I love how the stairs to the sushi bar light up with every step you take. The projections are beautiful and enchanting. The bbq floor was filled with led animations. It is pretty awesome. Sorry for the long review, and no picture. But would happily return here . Hopefully this was helpful.

We tried the sushi restaurant there it was such a unique experience. The decor was futuristic. The vibe was nice, the first floor has Korean bbq and the second floor is all you can eat sushi. The sushi itself is very comparable to other nearby option. The service was friendly and the food came quickly.

Just checked out the new Taiyo Cité on Crescent and it’s honestly such a cool experience. We went for the all-you-can-eat Japanese BBQ and the meat was super fresh and well-marinated, definitely top-tier for AYCE. The best part is the whole futuristic setup. They have robots and little trains that deliver the food right to your table, plus these awesome immersive wall projections. It just makes the whole dinner so much fun. The staff was also super welcoming and helpful with explaining the table grills, even with the new-open rush. Great food, wild atmosphere, and awesome service. Can't wait to go back and try the sushi floor!
