I went to taiyo last weekend and it exceeded my expectations. The food was good, as well as the atmosphere, and the service was amazing. My server Daphne was so sweet and professional and she made our experience so special and amazing. Would definitely visit again! 10/10

Honestly our experience last night was AMAZING. The restaurant is just so aesthetically pleasing and theres just so many choices from the menu that you'll never get bored. In total there are supposed to be 3 floors to the experience. First Floor: AYCE JBBQ Second: AYCE Sushi Third: Izakaya (not open yet, at the time of writing) The place so far is in 'soft launch' mode, so it is worth noting that, at the time I'm writing this, they do not have their liquor license yet so alcohol is not yet available on the menu. But please don't let that deter you from going now, or later in a month or two when it is. Not only are the visuals stunning but the conveyor belt system for delivering the meats to the table and the little train that brought certain appetizers was honestly just so innovative and cute that our group was in awe. Menu options are amazing. The meats were pretty good as far as most JBBQs/KBBQs go in Montreal as well but the real star were the diverse menu options available for all of us to try, even a limited but not small selection for Sushi in the BBQ floor. We went last night for a friend's birthday, and the staff were also super friendly and accommodating and seeing as we left at he end of the night, offered to even change the visuals on their screens for us to take a group photo. 10/10 would come here again, amazing experience!

It was a sushi restaurant with excellent quality for the price. The atmosphere was also great, and I would like to thank Billy, the kitchen manager who is a sushi expert! He is really handsome and makes good sushi😊

Sadly, it was just ok. As some of the previous comments mention, I feel like you’re really paying for the ambiance. It’s pretty and the service is quick but the sushi is only meh. Don’t get me wrong, the presentation is fantastic and the ambiance is cool, but the sushi rice is very heavy and I felt everything lacked flavour. A cool spot but I won’t be coming back again, I feel 50 dollars can be way more worth it at another ayce restaurant!

We went there Saturday for a date in their all you can eat sushi restaurant and honestly, this was a great experience. Food and presentation were good. There were technical malfunctions with their ordering system but the staffs were amazing and managed to give us a solution. The prices are a bit expensive but they’re alright. I will definitely come back here again and will try their all you can eat japanese grill.

You’re really paying for the atmosphere, not the food. The vibe is beautiful, but the food was very basic and not well presented compared to the setting. There are definitely better Japanese and sushi spots out there. The staff were super nice though probably the highlight of the experience.

The food was delicious and the staff was great. The service was pretty slow, most likely because their staff is new and it was busy. Waited around 45+mins for our final plate, so we decided to order dessert. Final plate never came but the dessert came pretty quick. Dessert options are pretty good.

We discovered this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat downtown and decided to give it a try. The food was really fresh and savory. It had a futuristic atmosphere with robots and little trains serving you the food. The service was really good, our bbq wasn’t working and they were extremely attentive and changed us tables, and even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Would definitely come back with friends!
