Nathaniel was a very sympathetic host. He was very welcoming and friendly. The peach salad, beignet and beef was excellent. The jambalaya was good but too heavy on the salt. Nice jazz ambiance and lovely decor! I recommend!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times before. I always found the portions and the food amazing, but last time I went this week of May 3, it seems that there’s a new chef. Portions are smaller, there’s no more of that amazing bread that used to be served while you were waiting for your food, and many dishes were removed from the menu or changed to appetizers. Disappointed!

Had a rsvp for my birthday was called by hostess right before reservation to push my reservation she was indifferent and non chalont about the situation..an older employee would have been more empathetic and accommodating being a client and owner no way to conduct a business

I really wanted to love this place but oh man… I will say the decor and atmosphere is very cool and fun but the food and service is where things went wrong. There were waiters and staff all around yet it took about 20 min for anyone to come see us after we were seated (waiting 20 minutes for a glass of water seems like a bit much in my opinion) Staff is cold, no smiles, just an overall lack of friendliness for a Louisiana themed restaurent they sure were lacking on southern hospitality 😆 Drinks came after our meal was served which felt very awkward and strange. When we brought it up to staff they said one of the cups for the cocktail was missing. This is fine but the other drinks (soda and wine) could have been served in the meantime and communication would have been appreciated especially when you know something will be late it’s only right to go warn the customer so they don’t feel forgotten. The food tasted good BUT the chicken on one of the dishes we ordered was raw and had to be sent back, it was not comped which i guess is fine though I feel it should have been. The staff was not at all apologetic and the manager/owner was standing right at the kitchen counter and even though he was made aware of the situation he did not come to the table to apologize or acknowledge the mistake which is just so unprofessional. For the price of the meal you would expect better service and quality of food Also the replacement meal was served after the rest of the plates were cleared away which is just super awkward to eat ur meal after everyone else is done eating… Overall very disappointing experience which is a real shame

Had a wonderful evening with my beautiful wife… tried different items on the menu and really enjoyed the taste and presentation. The service was attentive, friendly and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing experience… impeccable! The atmosphere is lively… good loud music but you could have a conversation comfortably

Great experience at this place a few weeks ago. There are not many options (especially in Laval) for southern food, so they definitely fill that void. The vibe is spot on. We came as a large group and everyone enjoyed their food. No complaints there. A few dishes that were ordered: Jambalaya, fried chicken and waffles, Gumbo. Great quality. The drinks were also spot on and cheap on a Thursday night. My only complaint would be the portions - waffles are literally the cheapest thing you can make, and for the price, the fried chicken and waffle dish left me quite hungry. 2 tiny little waffles under a few fried chicken thighs? Albeit delicious, it was a little outrageous for the price tag.

I like the jambalaya and the desserts were great. The food here actually tastes good. It's the small portions that bother me (and it's not exactly cheap either). The jambalaya balls were just ok, so was the fried calamari and shrimp and the mango fresca drink was not as fruity and tasty as I expected it to be. The "Bahama Mama" cocktail, however, was fantastic; it's rhum based and has ginger beer in it. I've been in love with that combo for years. All in all, I give Louisinana a 7 out of 10. The desserts and my Bahama Mama are what's doing the heavy lifting for this grade.

The atmosphere is lovely, but the food was kind of disappointing. When you think cajun food, you expect a burst of flavours which was missing in some of the dishes. You need to try the spagghetti from the tasting menu which was the best part of the whole meal. The drinks were amazing too!

Nice-looking restaurant, but the experience was disappointing overall. The main issues were noise and service management. The live music was far too loud for such a small space, it felt more like a concert than a dining experience. Service was disorganized, with multiple servers, long waits (about 30 minutes), and no proper welcome or menu introduction. Overall, poor experience. I wouldn’t return.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. The decor is amazing. It’s a very cozy, southern comfort vibe. They even had a live performance that played really well. The food was good, an overall 7/10. The drinks were however not that great. I ordered a passion fruit margarita which had way too much salt in it. My partner had a gin and tonic fizz that was super flat and had no fizz. I’d say overall the quality of the service was good but it was extremely slow. I had a reservation and waiting for 20 min just to be seated. Then it took around 40 min just to have our drink order. The food took about 30 min to arrive. We ordered a second round of drinks and that also took half an hour. I wanted to order dessert but was very discouraged by how slow things were so I didn’t even bother. Fortunately, as slow as the service was the staff was still very pleasant and tried their best to be accommodating.

Let’s start with the positives. the food was pretty good, i got myself the jerk chicken, no complaints there. having musicians play live while you eat is also a very nice touch. but the service was absolutely abysmal. our waiter barely checked up on us, the waiting times were horrid. we got there at 7:30PM, and got served at 9:30PM, way below the state of normality in a restaurant. it’s a shame really, i want to like this restaurant but the quality of the service plus the horrible waiting time doesn’t do it for me.

Mixed feelings about this place, but I’d give it another try. The vibe and decor are beautiful, and the service was amazing—they were very helpful with a birthday surprise and did a fun celebration performance. The food, however, didn’t meet expectations and didn’t feel very fresh. Hoping it was just an off day or that I chose the wrong dishes, so I’d come back to try again.

It was ok our server change during the service we had a man at the beginning super nice funny I liked him and after that a girl not really interacting with us. The food was ok but not the best. I have the waffle and chichen. My 2 drinks were good mama Bama and rhum runner. Overall I give the restaurant a 6.5 out of 10 not bad but not the best.

Fresh, flavorful dishes and a really nice vibe. Thanks to our waitress Daphne for the warm, attentive service she made the whole visit stand out. Definitely coming back.

Food was excellent, great vibe. Cuisine was actually better than some of the good New Orleans restaurants that we’ve been to. Just wish that I had a bit more. However, no one went home hungry. We will come back. drinks very well put together. Special note for the staff that gave a professional service. Very attentive.

Nice decoration and atmosphere but they only played Jazz music for about an hour so it lost its vibe. Food was good but no wow factor. Will not go back nor recommend it to anyone.
