I had an amazing experience at Manga Bistro! The easy order system made it a breeze to enjoy the extensive sushi buffet they offer. I liked that they offer a wide variety of items, but some of the dishes we ordered tasted cold, almost like they had been pre-made and stored in the fridge. The atmosphere was nice overall, though the heavy anime theme might feel a bit overwhelming if you’re not really into that. The staff were very friendly and respectful, which I appreciated. The only downside for me was that the food was brought out in separate batches instead of all at once, which isn’t my preference.

For a themed all you can eat joint, there is a good variety of normal choices that taste as expected which is fresh and tasty. They also have a good bunch of their special sushis that they pimp up and are novel.

Favorite all you can eat sushi in downtown Montreal. But this is for 2024-2026 let's see in the future if they can keep up this quality and service. Very quick and attentive staff. The food is amazing. Fish to rice ratio is perfect.

This is the second time we have visited this place and this time around it was extremely underwhelming. It could be because it was the lunch menu. The first time we were there we had the dinner menu and it was amazing so maybe that's it. Would I do the lunch menu again? I don't think so especially for how much we paid to eat there.

I had such a great time at Manga Bistro. The whole place has this really cool manga/anime vibe—it feels cozy, fun, and a bit different from your usual spots. The food was honestly delicious. Everything tasted fresh, well-made, and just really satisfying. What really stood out though was the service. Natsué was so kind and attentive, checking in at the right moments and making sure everything was perfect without ever feeling pushy. She genuinely made the experience better. You can tell this is one of those places you go to not just for the food, but for the whole vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

Love all the anime decor. Cool dragon ball Z stuff. Food is great and the staff is polite and helpful. Tip. Order only 1 of 5 to 7 dishes you like to start. Order 1st round quickly because sometimes it gets busy with orders.

This sushi place was a huge disappointment. As soon as we entered, we were seated quickly and everything was explained well, so the experience started off promising. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The appetizers arrived before the sushi, which is not an issue on its own, but the sushi itself took a very long time to come out. When it finally arrived, the salmon had an off taste and did not seem fresh at all. The appetizers were disappointing as well. The General Tao tasted like frozen food, and I have honestly had better at fast-food Chinese restaurants. To make things worse, dessert arrived before my last order, and by that point we had had enough and just asked for the bill., the food was very average, which is completely unacceptable for a price of around $45 per person. The service was also almost nonexistent. Staff would drop off the food and disappear, without ever coming back to check on us or the order. It took nearly 30 minutes just to get my drink, and the restaurant was not even busy. What made the whole experience even more telling was that most of the tables around us that left still had leftover sushi on their plates, which honestly gave us the impression that other people were not enjoying the food either. For the price, the quality of the food and service was nowhere near worth it. Do not be fooled by the manga/anime decor... this place feels much more like a tourist trap than a genuinely good restaurant.

I had such a great time at this sushi buffet. The torched sushi was honestly the highlight, perfectly seared, super flavorful, and just really satisfying. The whole place has this fun manga theme, which made the atmosphere feel lively and different from your usual restaurant. The staff were really warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the ordering system was so simple it made everything smooth and stress-free.
