I recently visited Manga Bistro and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere is vibrant, adorned with unique manga decorations that create a fun and inviting ambiance. The sushi is amazing!! The staff are responsive and respectful, all making your experience here worth it. The hostess, Natt, was amazing at her job managing clients (especially on a busy Saturday night) all while maintaining calm and being approachable. Well done!!

The hype didn’t match the experience. Dinner was advertised at $40 for Wednesday, but we were charged $45. On top of that, no one informed us about the 1 hour and 30 minute time limit. While eating, staff abruptly told us to order dessert because we had 30 minutes left, which felt rushed and a bit disrespectful when we were trying to enjoy our food. The food itself was okay, not the best. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the price.

This place is really all about the atmosphere. If you love anime and manga I’d highly recommend going at least once. If you love sushi you might find yourself disappointed. I understand it is AYCE, but I’ve been here 3 times and the quality and freshness of the sushi here is very poor compared to other AYCE sushi places at the same price or cheaper. I feel like the other reviewers here have no idea what good sushi tastes like and are spewing nonsense 😐

This is our go-to all-you-can-eat spot! Everything is always fresh and delicious every time we visit. Our last experience was a bit awkward, though, as some of the orders got mixed up and we were brought a few items we didn’t order, which was confusing for both us and the servers but they resolved it properly. That said, the atmosphere is great, and I’d definitely recommend it as a solid all-you-can-eat option in Montreal.

’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this sushi restaurant and feel obligated to warn others. First of all, the service was terrible from the moment we arrived. We were told right away that we only had 1 hour and 30 minutes to stay, which already made the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. To make things worse, near the end of our meal, staff came over to tell us we had 10 minutes to finish eating or we would be charged for anything left on the table. That felt very unprofessional and disrespectful, dining out should not feel like being timed under pressure. My boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning after eating here, which raises serious questions about the food handling and hygiene standards. Speaking of hygiene, the restaurant itself did not look clean. The entrance was full of snow and water. It gave a very poor first impression and did not make us feel confident about the cleanliness inside the establishment. Overall, between the rude service, unsanitary environment, and the fact that my boyfriend got sick, this was a very negative experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone and definitely won’t be returning.

We went on February 15th and waited in line for over half an hour, even though our turn had been called (SMS received after using the QR code on the door). The disorganization in controlling entry is very poor, it's irritating and doesn't let the customer know for sure who is waiting and who is being called. Even with the confirmation SMS, I couldn't get into the restaurant. I didn't even get inside and the service was terrible right at the door. The signage at the entrance doesn't make it clear to anyone what to do, and people kept going in and out ahead of us; it was practically a "first come, first served" situation. I do not recommend it.
