First, I should mention that I own a restaurant. This is one of my wife's favorite places. We've been following it since its first branch. But we've decided to stop going there. The service quality is so cold, lifeless, and terrible that all you want to do is leave. I believe this is 100% due to the energy the restaurant owner radiates; the staff work as if they're being forced to. All the items you see in this picture didn't arrive at the same time. A different staff member brought each order. I had to collect my empty plates myself every time. Nobody even bothered to clear them. These plates remained on the table until I left, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. As I was leaving, I told my wife we ​​shouldn't come back here. Why would I pay $100 for a place that doesn't make me feel good? For two people? Zero service, zero energy, what's the point, right? Secondly, the sashimi I ordered was spoiled and stale, and I ordered it in the middle of my meal; I almost threw up. I called the staff and, of course, as usual, I was met with a cold, expressionless face. I told them it was spoiled, and they just said "Okay" and took the plate from the table, but they didn't collect the empty plates. As I said, I'm a restaurant owner too. Every day I tell my service staff, "Please, if you're not good, it doesn't matter if good food comes out of the kitchen." I emphasize that service and the food coming out of the kitchen are teamwork, and I say this every day. First of all, I want to emphasize that customers should be attracted by your energy. If a staff member feels they don't have the energy to show a smiling face to a customer that day, I would advise them to take a leave of absence. Restaurants that don't care about their customers like this need to stop. You serve stale food, you don't apologize, you expect tips, and then you struggle to serve me? This restaurant has serious problems with both the cold chain and service. Customers should keep this in mind before going there. I've been a customer for three years and I've written all my notes here. I hope what I've written helps you.

Personally I’m never a big fan of buffet sushi but this one hit the spot. Didn’t try the whole lunch menu but the rolls were perfect. For the price you’re paying has a big variety. When with 3 friends and didint get fat full but enough to say I was satisfied and liked it. Also recomend saving spot for the ice cream really good .

Let's make it simple and short, this is one of the best (if not the best) all you can eat in DT Montreal, we've been regulars for the past year or 2 now, and any one we get there (friends or family) has only but positive experience. Keep on the great work, ps: we visit 1 time a week, or maximum every other week, if we are to busy. So plenty of opportunities to make sure of what I am writing.

Amazing place! Many varieties of Japanese cuisine and a lot of anime figurines. Service is wonderful but there is a lot of customers so, it can take some time. Try to come early because, it fills up quickly.

First time visiting this bistro, coming from Toronto. It’s very similar to Chatbar and the other restaurants like it. The lamb skewers were very tasty and juicy. The sushi was very good as well, usually restaurants that are more focused on the meat aren’t as good with the sushi, but this place was great. We enjoyed the torched sushi. Very well done. Will visit again
