Food is good, and so is the décor. But the food took long to arrive, we’ve ordered a simple meal and it only arrived around 45 minutes after ordering. The tables are dirty, and the women’s bathroom’s lock doesn’t work.

Asked for soda employee told us they were closed out while a family was in there dining went back and forth 10 min and she told us can't drink it here we agreed took it went outside I went back to replace my soda since the the one I got had no flavor got yelled at refilled left the employees discriminate the clientele based on looks cloths and overall appearance just very bad service really

The food maybe good didn’t try it but since service is that bad definitely nothing is good , we arrived at 20:45 to Laval branch, the lady didn’t even welcome us or even say anything like Hi or bonsoir or whatever, she directly said we don’t have nothing ready anything will take at least 30 min , she looks very upset, tired and hating the whole place , we left after we asked her couple questions and her reply was so rude, restaurant where we pay to get good service as well food , I feel bad for the owner

There was hair in my food when i tried to complain they said go out and every time i go they discriminate against us calling the police and forcing us to leave (its the manager)

We got delicious food but they forgot our fries when we ordered a combo for take away. The audacity to ignore our calls afterwards is astounding.

The chicken filet are the best i had in Montréal! Bravo! Took a long time to be served. Very popular. The place was not very clean but i will go back and take to go!

The chicken leg taste was weird, I got nauseous few hours after. Only the fries were actually good, even the cookie was hard and looked passed.. do not go !

The fry chicken is like fried and refrigerated for a year and refried again. The cook is hard and you can tell everything is beyond the shelf life. The food made me throw up. Please do a check up on the food. It’s unsafe.

Terrible service, they refused to serve me and a couple of friends saying they had bad experiences with "our kind of people" (we are young arab teenagers). When I tried to resonate with them and asked why they won't serve us, they said they don't serve our kind of people. We had done nothing wrong and were nothing but respectful. Shameful...

The food is okay, but the service and cleanliness is lacking. My order was forgotten and the staff interact with clients without any care. I got my order 20min after the rest of my party. When I went up to the counter to ask the employee where my order is, the cashier replied "oh we just forgot it, nothing to worry about". The fork for my Mac and cheese was also disgusting and looked to have hair on it.

We ordered through Uber Eats. They forgot half the order. I tried calling the Laval location (where we ordered the food from), but the phone number wasn’t functional. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. I do not recommend it.

Came in janurary at around 8 pm. Service was a little awakward when i asked if their fried was homemade, she was still nice though. Since it was late, i wasnt expecting fast service, but i still timed it and it took 21 minutes. I got their tenders poutine, it was average tasting, a little dry not flavourful, so i added mayo around the end. The chicken pieces were hot but after a while, the crispy edges became harder. Their coleslaw portions are generous and it was very creamy, a few bites and your full, it lowkey gets sickening as you go on. The wrap was big and good, and the chicken burger too, however not outstanding. Their fountain drinks at the time were watered down, and when we told her she offered us pepsi cans and much later went to check on it herself. The restaurant had photobooths to eat in, big enough for groups of 2-4. The place was still big, retro and very well lit.

I like their graphics. The food is alright. My son loves the fried chicken. I found the soda had gone flat. The chicken was salty and the bun for the chicken burger Jack Classic, was nice and big but clearly wasn't all that fresh. The service was very polite and the place is clean and bright.

Went in to this location on a monday night dinner time. The restaurant was completely empty and this should have been a sign to turn around but really wanted to try it. Tried the Jack Gourmet and wanted to try their crispy fries. Received the food and normal fries were given instead. I asked for some ketchup and they didn't have (weird). The burger was very disappointing, lacked taste and didn't seem fresh. The price that i paid for it is not worth it. The restaurant seemed to lack in cleanliness. There were flies all around when it was -20 outside, which means that it wasn't really clean. Staff was on their phones (dirtiest item possible) and then touching the food. I think maybe a refresh on food safety would help on the overall experience. I do not recommend eating here. Too bad being the place seemed very cool.

Although the restaurant states it offers halal food, the grill used for burgers is shared with pork bacon. This makes the burgers non-halal due to cross-contamination.

I decided to give Jack le Coq a try around 12:00 p.m. on January 28, 2026, and ordered the Jack Nashville Trio with mac and cheese. From the moment I unwrapped the chicken burger, it was clear something was wrong. Liquid immediately poured out, a mix of excess sauce and coleslaw juice, turning the sandwich into more of a soup than a burger. The chicken had been over-drenched in sauce and assembled without any care for balance, leaving the bun completely soaked. Letting the chicken rest after saucing or properly draining the coleslaw would have easily prevented this. I still gave it a fair chance, but the bun was dry and stale despite being soaked. The coleslaw added nothing. The flavors clashed with the Nashville seasoning and most of it fell out after the first bite. The chicken itself was decent, but the portion was far too small to justify being the centerpiece. Overall, it felt like I was eating soggy bread and odd coleslaw, with barely any chicken. The burger was poorly executed and careless. The mac and cheese tasted almost identical to Kraft Dinner, with no depth at all. To make matters worse, flies were hovering around my food inside the restaurant. In the middle of winter, this is especially concerning from a cleanliness and food safety standpoint. For $23, this was a complete disappointment. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

On December 13, I placed an order that never arrived at my home. I sent an email requesting a refund, but never received any response. In my opinion, a restaurant that keeps a customer’s money without delivering the order is not trustworthy. I do not recommend eating at this place, and definitely not ordering delivery.
