What an experience as a first time visitor! The butcher’s selection was absolutely incredible, easily one of the best we’ve had. From the pine nut asparagus to the beef consommé to the filet mignon, every item was top quality and cooked perfectly. But the real standout was our server, Victor. The service he provided was on another level, genuinely the best we’ve ever experienced. Attentive, fast, and made the whole night way more enjoyable. Honestly, his performance was comparable to 2018 LeBron James and 2013 Cristiano Ronaldo, just elite across the board. Will definitely be coming back!

I love Hana resto!! The stuff is super nice and welcoming !! The food is amazing 10/10!! Best place to have a date or just come with a farine and spend a wholesome time !

Overall I had a good meal. We chose the 4 course meal option and omg that first bite was heavenly, but the 3 others cuts weren't as delicious. They were good but did not come close to the first cut. A big selection of banchan let's you customize each bite, I really like the mustard green.

12/10 experience. My boyfriend and I came on a spontaneous date night and it did not disappoint what so ever. The food was out of this world but what really took the experience to an all time high was the service. Everyone was so attentive, so friendly and very welcoming, as specially our server Victor. I definitely recommend Hana and we will certainly be coming back.

Even with a reservation (9pm), we wait for 50 minutes to get our table which is inacceptable for a high end restaurant. The meat and the quantity was good for the price but the quality of the service was not what I except for this type of restaurant. It was quite loud and the tables are big because of the bbq so not ideal for an intimate dinner. Overall, I would not recommend.

I’ve been waiting for this place to open, and it was worth the wait! Incredible Korean steak house in Montreal, with excellent grill service from the servers. A perfect spot to celebrate a special day with someone you love. Highly recommended!!!

Hana Korean Steakhouse feels like a fusion of Okeya Kyujiro’s top-tier omakase experience and Gyu-Kaku’s grill-your-own-meat concept. They're both my favorite restaurants in Montreal and Hana offers a more premium take on Korean barbecue, while also featuring its own Omakase menu. Hana is easily one of the most unique restaurant experiences you can find in Montreal and a very high recommend. Coming from someone that's visited a ton of restaurants across the city, if you're a fan of meat and simple but very tasty meals, this is a must to go. I can't comment too much on whether the Korean part of the cuisine was authentic or not, but whatever the case is, it was absolutely delicious. The staff and customer service was excellent as well. We were served by the floor manager that was not only managing reception and overseeing all the tables, but also serving us personally. We couldn't have asked for a better service and she did a fantastic job of accommodating us. The restaurant has both a bar and normal table seating (I believe up to 6 per table) and the menu has three "categories" of options: a normal menu where you can order a set meal, an Omakase menu with a wide variety of tasting menu items and a fixed menu of a bunch of meat options (with side dishes). You can combine all of the above or add extras, but in all honesty, it's more then enough food if you took an appetizer and one of the above. My only two small complaints: - The dessert was a little disappointed as I was hoping we would get a premium/unique Korean desert, but instead we got a simple scoop of ice cream that had a weird strong citrusy favor. - The noise level at 7h PM on a Saturday was ok, but as the night continued, the rest of the guests got extremely loud. I wouldn't be shocked if the later crowd is more rambunctious, so time your visit in terms of what you're looking for. If you want a romantic evening, the earlier the best and I would avoid anything past 9h PM. Finally, some reviewers mentioned slow service, but please note that this is NOT your traditional restaurant. The staff not only needs to wait tables, but also cook part of the meal live in front of you. It's completely normal that this experience will take a while, so don't expect a quick/cheap meal where you'll go in and out in less then an hour. P.S.: I hope they open up for lunch in the future, as I'd pass by with coworkers or Saturday quite often!

First experience at Hana Korean Steakhouse and we had a blast! Our server, Oliver, was a very knowledgeable about the menu and funny which simply added to the experience. The food was phenomenal to say the least. Definitely recommend - we will be back!

We were a group of four and all our first time, our waiter was Olivier , kind and friendly and his recommendations were on point, ordered 3 entrees to share and ordered the Butcher’s selection each, the Banchan “side dishes” were refillable which was really nice! To be honest we were surprisingly full at the end of the experience
