We had a really great experience! The food was delicious, and Liza was so friendly and attentive. She made us feel very welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. Would definitely come back!

We stopped coming here a few years ago because of really bad service, but decided to give it another chance hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. We had to ask for utensils and were never offered bread. My striploin had a large, tough piece of connective tissue, my husband’s steak was ordered rare but came out closer to blue, and the vegetables tasted frozen and were overcooked. For the price, we expected much better. We’ll stick with The Keg.

Standard BR experience. Pretty good. The server was great, interesting engaging banter. Food was good to good+. Family had no real complaints. Ended up going there because I really wanted some ribs. They were just ok. They felt bag cooked until fall of the bone and then charred up a bit on the grill. They were very 'soft' for last k of a better term. Lots of people love them like this, I like a bit more feeling to them, so you know you are eating meat on a bone. The mashed was good, coleslaw was from a pail I assume. The seafood pasta in rose sauce was very good, no complaints. The BR burger was lack luster. Just another burger. My wife's ceasar was very good. Daughters Shirley Temple was meh, we asked for some grapefruit and/or orange juice to add to it and it was forgotten about. The atmosphere was ok, however there were flies everywhere. It got to the point where we were wondering what was going on, reatataunts have to be vigilant on fruit flies, they failed on this. BR tries to be a Keg alternate, but doesn't get there. For the money, id go elsewhere.

Nice staff and food at the location on Tashereau in the south shore. We had the Pear salad and chicken plus Baton Rouge burger. Very good burger. We were the last to arrive and the manager had the cook make our meal for us even though kitchen was closing still. Waiter was also very professional and accommodating and gave us birthday cake.

Sad what’s happened to this great place. I have been doing to BR for the past 20+ years but now I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Don’t ever order the Cod - it’s horrible. Actually, don’t go at all. Don’t know what MTY has done to the place. Really disappointed.

Our experiences at Baton Rouge throughout Eastern Canada are generally good to very good and this one-time experience at this specific location was likely that, a one-off. What we liked: -Seated rapidly in a nice quieter area of the restaurant -Friendly service from the waitstaff -Nice, diversified menu, and willingness to accommodate some dietary requests -Good portions -We were not rushed to get out of the place once we were done dining What would have been the experience more enjoyable: -3 of the people in our party got their orders a good 20 minutes after everyone else, likely due to an issue in the kitchen -The ribs, which are generally a highlight were on the tougher side (same for all in our party that had the ribs) -Due to to mix-up in the kitchen, some dishes were not prepared as requested All in, this was not a bad experience... but it wasn't as impressive as it usually is. As I said, likely a one off bad night

We had a fantastic dinner here, and our waiter made the night truly special. He was incredibly attentive, polite, and fast. Since some of our family members only speak Spanish, it was an absolute joy that he spoke Spanish fluently. He explained the menu perfectly and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious, but his outstanding hospitality is the main reason we will definitely be back. Highly recommended! Keven es el mejor y habla español ! Muchas gracias Keven

Our waiter Keven made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us excellent recommendations. Great service and delicious food. As an added bonus Keven spoke Spanish so ordering and everything was just top notch.
