After two days of trial, the sommelier from Gatineau did not contain his joy. She finished first in front of the Will Predhomme Ontario, Ontario's best sommelier in 2012, before the Quebec Elyse Lambert, holds the title of Best Sommelier of the Americas in 2009. Véronique Rivest is a sommelier and wine columnist in Le Droit and CBC Radio in Ottawa. She also writes for several magazines and participated in numerous television shows and radio. Veronique won the title of Best Sommelier of Canada in 2006 and 2012, and represented Canada at the Best Sommelier of the World 2010. She was named Woman of Wine 2007 in Paris.
